Your itinerary
Day 1 Sat: Arrive Auckland
On arrival in Auckland you will be transferred to your hotel
(flights to arrive prior to 4.00pm). The remainder of the day is at
leisure to explore Auckland. Perhaps visit theSky Tower for spectacular views of the city. Tonight enjoy a welcome drink with yourTour Director.
Accommodation: Mercure Hotel, Auckland.
Day 2 Sun: Auckland/Bay of Islands
Cross the Auckland Harbour Bridge and travel north to the beautiful Bay of Islands.
Enjoy 'Walking with the Descendants', a guided tour of the Waitangi Treaty Reserve. Enjoy a tour personally guided by a descendant of the Chiefs who signed the Treaty in 1840.
Accommodation: Hotel Paihia,Bay of Islands, 2 nights. (B) 
Day 3 Mon: Bay of Islands
Today enjoy the many different optional activities which the Bay of
Islands has to offer. Maybe take a coach trip to Cape Reinga via Ninety
Mile Beach, try your hand at Day Sailing or even a guided sea kayaking
trip. Tonight is free for independent dining at one of the local
restaurants. (B)
Day 4 Tue: Bay of Islands/ Auckland
This morning join a cruise through game fishing waters to Cape Brett. Weather permitting, travel through the famous 'Hole in the Rock'. On return to Paihia the cruise meanders through the islands, where you will see deserted sandy beaches, beautiful bays and marine life.
This afternoon return to the 'City of Sails'. You will be transferred
to Auckland Airport to connect with your flight (flight to depart after
7.30pm). (B)
