One of the loveliest coastal spots in Croatia, Cavtat stands on a wooded headland dotted with cypresses and pines 15 miles south of Dubrovnik. It borders several fine shingle beaches and in its sleepy old quarter you'll find a sheltered harbour and good choice of shops and cafés. Local swimming is excellent and nearby sports include tennis and sailing.

Your itinerary
Day 1: UK - Dalmatian Coast.
Fly to Dubrovnik where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for a seven-night stay.
Day 2: Dubrovnik. Included sightseeing.
The highlight today is the included sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik with a local guide. The tour will take you on the coastal highway for a panoramic view of the city walls, ancient rooftops and picturesque surroundings before continuing on foot for a walking tour of the city. This ancient town, surrounded by fortresses, is a treasure trove of architectural and cultural masterpieces preserved over centuries. The pleasant walk of the city will take you to the Rectors' Palace and the Franciscan Monastery with its 14th century pharmacy.
Day 3: Montenegro. Included sightseeing.
A full day excursion to Montenegro, an area of natural beauty with an abundance of historical sights. Drive to the mouth of the Bay of Kotor, through the towns of Risan and Perast, and on to Kotor, one of the most beautiful parts of the bay, before continuing to Cetinje, rich in history and the one-time seat of Montenegran rulers. Your return journey takes you back along the coast and across the bay by ferry to Dubrovnik.
Day 4: At leisure on the Dalmatian coast.
Enjoy a day of leisure on the Dalmatian Coast or perhaps join one of the optional excursions.
Day 5: Trsteno and Ston. Included sightseeing.
Start the tour with a leisurely stroll through the Trsteno Botanical Gardens, a delight of exotic vegetation and plants. Later travel to Ston, protected by over 5 kilometres of stone walls that attract hundreds of visitors each year. Other highlights include the old salt-pan, where salt is still being produced today, and the famous oyster and mussel farms. After sightseeing you can try some of the local seafood and wines in one of the famed Dalmatian wine cellars.
Day 6: Mostar. Included sightseeing.
Travel towards Mostar via the coastal town of Neum and the mountain areas of Herzegovina and the Neretva River. A guided tour will show you some of the city's highlights, such as the bazaar and the mosque. On your return journey, enjoy a stop in Pocitelj, a picturesque fortress town rich in oriental architecture.
Day 7: At leisure on the Dalmatian coast.
Enjoy the day relaxing in your resort.
Day 8: Dalmatian Coast - UK.
Transfer to Dubrovnik airport for your flight to the UK.
Note: You will be required to take your passport with you on the excursions to Mostar and Montenegro.
