Day 1: UK - Venice area.

Fly to Venice where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the Venice area for a two night stay. (D)

Day 2: Venice.

Venice, a city of unparalleled beauty, is a feast of wonderful sights. Imagine the delightful criss-crossing canals, the gondolas, water buses, arched bridges, palaces and quiet little piazzas. Enjoy the included canal boat ride towards St Mark's Basilica, from here you can join the included sightseeing tour as well as a visit to a typical Venetian glass blowing demonstration. (B)

Day 3: Venice area - Assisi - Rome.

Drive south this morning across the River Po. Then make your way into the Apennines, stopping in historic Assisi to visit the magnificent Basilica of St Francis. We then continue to Rome for your three night stay. (B)

Days 4 - 5: Rome. Included sightseeing.

The 'Eternal City' - a city steeped in history, vibrantly alive, exciting and absolutely unique! Included sightseeing with local guide starts in St Peter's Square, followed by a visit to the Roman Forum and the mighty Colosseum. (B)

Day 6: Rome - Pisa - Florence area.

Northward into Tuscany to Pisa to see the Square of Miracles with the amazing 'Leaning Tower'. Then only a few more miles to the Florence area for two nights. (B)

Day 7: Florence. Included sightseeing.

This Renaissance gem, city of the Medicis, will keep you enthralled for a whole day. Traffic is banned partly in the historic centre so visitors can wander at leisure and admire this city's timeless beauty. Don't miss the included walking tour with local guide which will include most of the city highlights. You will see the Piazza Santa Croce, the beautiful Piazza Signoria, the Palazzo Vecchio and its courtyard, the Loggia dei Lanzi and to top it all the Piazza del Duomo and its cathedral with the Giotto 'Campanile' and the magnificent East Door of the Baptistry known as the 'Gate to Paradise'. Later visit one of Florence's bargain leather shops. (B) (D)

Day 8: Florence area - Venice - UK.

Transfer to Venice airport for your flight to the UK. (B)
