Day 1: Arrive Copenhagen: After checking into your youth hotel, the remainder of the day is at leisure. Join your Tour Manager and fellow travellers for an important meeting at 6pm followed by an included dinner. Youth Hotel (D)
Day 2: Copenhagen Sightseeing: Our sightseeing tour includes Copenhagen's famous sights like the Geffion Fountain, the Royal Palace and the Little Mermaid. Perhaps a visit to the Carlsberg Brewery this morning. Youth Hotel (B)
Day 3: Copenhagen to Stockholm: After a short ferry crossing, we arrive in Sweden and head north to Stockholm, Sweden's capital city. Cabin (B)
Day 4: Stockholm Sightseeing: Today an orientation tour including the Royal Palace and Old Town. In your free time you can visit the 17th Century warship The Vasa'. Tonight why not explore the cobbled streets and sample the local fare? Cabin (B)
Day 5: Stockholm to Helsinki (Baltic Ferry): A free day to explore the sights and shops of Stockholm before we board the luxurious Baltic ferry for our "thousand-island"overnight cruise. Perhaps enjoy a superb Smorgasbord meal and an evening dancing in the ship's own nightclub. Baltic Ferry (B)
Day 6: Helsinki Sightseeing: Our sightseeing tour of Helsinki, Finland's capital, takes in the Olympic Stadium and the massive underground church in the 'White City of the North'. See Sibelius Park, a memorial to Finland's greatest composer. Youth Hotel (B)
Day 7: Helsinki to St. Petersburg: An early start this morning as we head to Russia. Stopping en-route at Vyborg - your first taste of old-style Russia, we continue to our hotel in St. Petersburg. Hotel (B,D)
Days 8-9: St. Petersburg Sightseeing: Plenty of time in St Petersburg to get acquainted with the fascinating history and way of life. Our sightseeing tour includes the great Winter Palace, the incredible Hermitage Museum; visit Petrodvorets with its palaces, parks and fountains. Day 10: St. Petersburg to Novgorod: We leave the 'Cradle of the Revolution' and journey past collective farmland to Novgorod, which when translated means 'New Town'. This afternoon, a guided tour of the town and its famous church and millenium bell. Hotel (B,D)
Day 11: Novogorod to Moscow: Past Klin where Tchaikovsky lived, then a short drive to Moscow where we enjoy a first glance at the city sights, including Red Square. Hotel (B,D)
Days 12-13: Moscow Sightseeing: Two days to explore this fascinating city. Our sightseeing tour includes the Kremlin, the onion domes of St Basil's, Red Square and the GUM Store. There's even the opportunity to travel on the Moscow underground! Hotel (B) (B,D)
Day 14: Moscow to Yartsevo: From Moscow, we continue to Smolensk - visit "Borodino" on the Dnieper that became the strategic key to Moscow in 1812 and 1941. Later we arrive at our overnight hotel in Yartsevo. Hotel (B,D)
Day 15: Yartsevo to Minsk: A visit to Smolensk on our way to Minsk, the capital of Belarus, where we will enjoy a sightseeing tour of this former Soviet stronghold. Hotel (B,D)
Day 16: Minsk to Warsaw: This morning we travel through Brest, the first Soviet city destroyed in World War II, before crossing the Polish border for two nights at our hotel in Warsaw. Hotel (B,D)
Day 17: Warsaw Sightseeing: Warsaw, the rebuilt capital of Poland, and home of Chopin, features many tributes to her turbulent history, not least the Ghetto Heroes monument. See it all on our sightseeing tour. Wander through the old city and Chopin's park. A chance to do your own thing tonight and try the local fare. Hotel (B)
Day 18: Warsaw to Berlin: Our drive today passes through the Polish-German border to the cultural capital of Germany, Berlin. Upon arrival we'll see the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and the Russian Memorial. Youth Hotel (B,D)
Day 19: Berlin Sightseeing: Time to explore this lively city where East and West once met. A "must see" is "Checkpoint Charlie"and other famous sites. Also a chance to enjoy the exciting nightlife Youth Hotel (B)
Day 20: Berlin to Copenhagen: We travel across Germany and on a ferry to Denmark for our final night in Copenhagen. Why not join your crew for a last night farewell dinner?. Youth Hotel (B)
