Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Rome. Make your own way to the hotel, then the day is free to explore at leisure. Maybe start your souvenir shopping or try an Italian gelato. Tonight, enjoy dinner after meeting with your Tour Manager and fellow travellers at 6pm. (D)
Day 2: Rome. Time to explore the Eternal City with a chance to visit the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Relax on the Spanish Steps, shop on the Via del Corso or maybe enjoy a meal at the Piazza Navona. (B)
Day 3: Rome. Another full day to explore and discover ancient Rome. Take in the Colosseum and the Roman Forum and then why not join us for a Roman feast? (B)
Day 4: Rome to Sorrento. Travel south past Naples, the home of pizza, to the beautiful resort town of Sorrento. Tonight a chance for dinner on a terrace overlooking the Bay of Naples with a view of Mt. Vesuvius. (B)
Day 5: Sorrento - Isle of Capri. Cruise across to the stunning Isle of Capri for the day. In your free time why not visit Capri town to enjoy the views or explore the Marina Piccola? A chance to visit the Blue Grotto before returning to Sorrento. (B,D)
Day 6: Sorrento to Adriatic Ferry. This morning you can explore the ancient ruins of Pompeii with a local guide. Later we take in the rolling scenery of Southern Italy as we travel east to board our overnight ferry to Greece. (B)
Day 7: Adriatic Ferry to Athens. Arrive in Patras and travel across the Peloponnese peninsula to Corinth to view the Canal. Then to the ancient city of Athens where exciting nightlife awaits. (B,D)
Day 8: Athens. A whole day in Athens where our city tour includes the first modern Olympic stadium, the Hellenic Parliament and a guided visit of the Acropolis and the Parthenon. Tonight why not join us for a farewell dinner in the Plaka district of Athens? (B)
Day 9: End Athens. Time to swap addresses and say good-bye to your new friends as your tour ends after breakfast. (B)
