Trip Itinerary
Day 1: London to Munich We meet at 2.30pm for a 3.00pm departure from the Royal National Hotel, London. Then we leave London to begin our journey to Munich.
Day 2: Munich Arrive Munich Campsite mid-morning and be greeted by your Contiki representative and a cooked breakfast. Relax for a while before exploring Munich and any one of the twelve beer halls situated on the site. Don?t forget the triple loop roller-coaster ride or the ghost train and of course the wine and schnapps tent. (B)
Day 3: Munich Enjoy an opportunity to be at the official opening of Oktoberfest! Watch the Bavarian Parade where people from all over Bavaria walk in National costume to join in the festivities. Afterwards take time to explore the Oktoberfest grounds. (B)
Day 4: Munich This morning a chance to visit the concentration camp at Dachau to learn more about this dark side of history from WWII. Alternatively, you can return to one of the 12 beer halls situated on the Oktoberfest site or get to know the city of Munich and all it has to offer. (B)
Day 5: Munich to London This morning we have an early start departing Munich and travelling through Germany and France before arriving in London late evening. (B) * Itinerary is subject to change.
