DAY 1 - UK - BOSTON
After your scheduled flight to
the historic city of
Boston, there
are complimentary transfers
from Logan Airport
to the tour hotel. Your Tour Director
will be available at
the hotel in the afternoon to greet
you and answer any

2 - BOSTON - PITTSFIELD
Boston is one of America's oldest
and most historic
cities, and your Tour Director brings
it all to life on the
city's famed Freedom
Trail. See
Beacon Hill, Newbury
Street, Faneuil Hall Marketplace,
Bunker Hill Pavilion
and the
meeting house
where the Boston Tea Party was
planned. Then sit back and enjoy the
colorful scenery as
you travel west to
Stockbridge for
a visit to the Norman
Rockwell Museum, housing the world's
largest and most
significant collection of original
Rockwell art. In the
evening, enjoy a Welcome
Drink and dinner with your
Tour Director at your hotel in the

DAY 3 - PITTSFIELD -
STOWE
Leave Massachusetts and journey
through the fabulous
fall foliage of the 'Green Mountains
State' of
Vermont. Learn
all about cheese-making and taste the
famous Grafton Village
Cheddar Cheese, before
stopping at the
impressive Quechee
Gorge. Visit the
renowned Billings
Farm & Museum, a working dairy
farm and farm life
museum, before a stroll
through the quaint village of
Woodstock with
its famous covered
bridge. Stay in
Stowe for the next two nights. It
was this alpine setting
that attracted the Von Trapp family
when they arrived
from Austria in the late 40's and
built their fabulous

DAY 4 - GREEN MOUNTAINS
EXCURSION
Enjoy beautiful
rural scenery this morning, including
covered bridges and views of
Vermont's tallest peak,
Mount Mansfield.
Visit Cold Hollow Apple Cider Mill, to
taste fresh cider in the making, then
sample flavours of a
different kind on your tour of Ben &
Jerry's Ice Cream
Factory. Return to the
charming town of Stowe where the
remainder of the day is free to enjoy
the amenities of the
resort including an elegant
afternoon tea. (B)
DAY 5 - STOWE - NORTH
CONWAY
At Montpelier, a
visit to the Morse Farm
Maple
Sugarworks, allows you to
sample maple sugar and get to
taste a Vermont tradition: 'sugar on
snow', served with a donut and pickle!
Now head for New Hampshire's
White
Mountains and enter
Franconia Notch. Get your cameras
at the ready as you ride
the spectacular Cannon
Mountain aerial tramway for
panoramic vistas over
New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Canada
and New
York. Then continue to your
hotel via the crimson and
orange hues of the Kancamagus
Scenic Byway.

DAY 6 - WHITE MOUNTAINS
EXCURSION
Another scenic day takes you
through Crawford Notch
to view the beautiful
Silver Cascade
Waterfall. Enjoy
stunning views of Mount Washington, the
tallest peak in
the northeast at 6,288 feet and also
stop in quaint alpine
villages. Now it's back
through the beautiful White
Mountains to your hotel where this
evening is at leisure. Perhaps enjoy
some tax-free shopping at the elegant
outlet stores nearby the hotel. (B)
DAY 7 - NORTH CONWAY -
PORTSMOUTH
Relax as the pine forests of
western Maine give way to
the rugged Maine
Coast. Continue south past
the 'Forest
City' of Portland to stroll the
narrow streets of
Kennebunkport,
along the rocky coast of Ocean Drive.
Admire the amazing views and look for
lobster boats in
the distance as you head for the
quaint village of
Portsmouth. Time
here to browse the many galleries and
shops, or walk along the
river-front. Tonight bid
farewell to your fellow travelers and
enjoy a traditional
'lobsta bake', a Maine tradition, in the
nearby seaside
village of York. Hotel: Sheraton

DAY 8 - RETURN TO UK
After a leisurely breakfast and
some free time in the
village, a short scenic drive brings you
back to Boston
Logan Airport for your overnight flight
back to the UK. A stop will be made at
the Omni Parker House
for those
wishing to extend their stay in Boston.
