Airport Transfers- London Gateways: Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and central London. When you book your tour with Trafalgar your transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your airport and Central London.
- Important - Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
- You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
- Flights are either booked by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
- Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
- Heathrow Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-21.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by coach. Gatwick Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-12.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by express train and coach. Transfers outside these times will be at the passengers own expense.
- In the event of unforeseen events (road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.

Your itinerary Map - Day 1 - London - Amsterdam We head for the White Cliffs of Dover before our Channel crossing to Calais. Then, via Belgium to Amsterdam. Tonight, we enjoy a Welcome dinner and drink with our Tour Director as we glide along Amsterdam's canals in our glass topped boat. (Welcome Dinner)
Hotel: Mercure Aan de Amstel
- Day 2 - Amsterdam - Rhine Cruise - Rhineland (Mannheim) A morning visit to a diamond-polishing factory (opening times permitting.) Then on to the German border and Cologne to view its Cathedral. Next we enjoy a Rhine cruise past medieval castles and wine villages before reaching our hotel for dinner and overnight. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
Hotel: Holiday Inn City Centre
- Day 3 - Rhineland (Mannheim) - Heidelberg - Munich - Innsbruck Our first stop is Heidelberg to view its Castle. Then on to Munich where an orientation tour shows us the Marienplatz and Olympic Stadium. Then, a scenic drive to Innsbruck. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)

- Day 4 - Innsbruck - Venice (Main.) (2 nights) Orientation features the Golden Roof and Wilten Basilica. Then across the Brenner Pass into Italy and Shakespeare's Verona where we see the Roman Arena and Juliet's balcony. Then we continue to Venice. (Buffet Breakfast)
Hotel: Laguna Palace (2 nights)
- Day 5 - Venice sightseeing & at leisure Enjoy a canal cruise to St. Mark's Square where we view the Bridge of Sighs, Doges' Palace and more. Later, we will visit a Murano glass-blowing factory before time at leisure. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
- Day 6 - Venice (Main.) - Vienna (2 nights) Back to the mainland and the Austrian Lake District. Then across the Styrian Alps en route to Vienna. (Buffet Breakfast)

- Day 7 - Vienna sightseeing & at leisure Sightseeing shows us the Opera, Parliament, the Imperial Boulevards, the Hofburg and Stadtpark. A guided walking tour shows us the oldest part of the city - 'Am Hof'. Then time at leisure to explore. (Buffet breakfast)
- Day 8 - Vienna - Budapest (2 nights) We cross the Hungarian border stopping at Györ. On through the vineyards of Transdanubia to Budapest. (Buffet Breakfast)

- Day 9 - Budapest sightseeing & at leisure Sightseeing in the twin cities of Buda and Pest features the Great Synagogue and a walking tour in old Buda including the Fishermen's Bastion with views over the Parliament and Danube. - Day 10 - Budapest - Sibiu Across the Great Hungarian Plain, Szeged, into Romania. Then via Arrad through the Transylvanian Alps en route to Sibiu for the night. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)

- Day 11 - Sibiu - Bucharest A morning orientation, then on to Bucharest. Here sightseeing shows us the Metropolitan Cathedral, Triumphal Arch, Opera and Atheneum. Tonight, we enjoy dinner at our hotel. (Buffet Brealfast/ Dinner)

- Day 12 - Bucharest - Sofia (2 nights) Today we cross the River Danube and enter Bulgaria where we soon reach the capital, Sofia for two nights. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)

- Day 13 - Sofia sightseeing & at leisure Orientation, includes the onion-domed Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Later free time, perhaps to discover the Rila Monastery. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
- Day 14 - Sofia - Kalambaka We follow the valley of the River Struma into Greece. Later we enjoy fine views of the Plains of Thessaly en route to Kalambaka. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)

- Day 15 - Kalambaka - Athens (4 nights) Today we see the site of the Battle of Thermopylae, before making a stop at Delphi on Mount Parnassus where we take a guided walk to the Oracle using audio equipment. Later we arrive in Athens, where we spend the next four nights. (Buffet Breakfast)

- Days 16, 17 & 18 - Athens at leisure Athens at leisure Enjoy three full days at leisure to relax or further explore this fascinating city. Maybe see the sunset at the Temple of Poseidon, or board a first class cruise ship for a romantic three day cruise around the Aegean islands. (Buffet breakfast / Buffet breakfast / Buffet breakfast)
- Day 19 - Athens - At Sea As part of our sightseeing tour we enjoy a walking tour of the Acropolis with the use of our audio equipment and local guide, before travelling across the Corinth Canal. From here we drive west to Patras for our overnight ferry to Italy. (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner)
- Day 20 - Bari - Pomepeii - Bay of Naples Morning arrival in Bari where orientation shows us the old port and the castle. We cross the Campania region of Italy towards the Bay of Naples, where we enjoy a walking tour of the excavations of Pompeii using our audio equipment. Then on to our hotel. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)

- Day 21 - Bay of Naples (Pompeii) - Isle of Capri - Rome (3 nights) We cruise to Capri, where we enjoy a guided walking tour using our excellent audio equipment before continuing to Rome for our three-night stay.Buffet breakfast)
Hotel: Grand Tiberio (3 nights)
- Day 22 & 23 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure The ceiling of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel is revealed by a local expert with the help of our audio system gets the day off to a great start. Then we visit St. Peter's Basilica and enjoy a walking tour featuring the Forum, Colosseum and Circus Maximus.The rest of your stay in Rome is at leisure. (Buffet breakfast / Buffet breakfast)
- Day 24 - Rome - Florence - Montecatini We drive through the Chianti region of Tuscany to Renaissance Florence. Here our guided walking tour, with an audio system, shows us the Duomo, Signoria Square and visits the Santa Croce Basilica. From here we drive through the Arno Valley to the spa-resort of Montecatini. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
Hotel: Francia & Quirinale
- Day 25 - Montecatini - Pisa - Nice (2 nights) - Monte Carlo Excursion Off to nearby Pisa to see the Leaning Tower in the Square of Miracles before we set off for the Italian Riviera. Then we cross into France to jet-set Nice. Later, sample the high life on a visit to the Principality of Monaco to see the famous Monte Carlo Casino. Tonight, enjoy dinner in a typical restaurant. (Buffet Breakfast/ Highlight Dinner)
Hotel: Novotel Nice Centre Acropolis(2 nights)
- Day 26 - Nice - Côte d'Azur Excursion After breakfast, we make our way to Cannes, famous for its Film Festival. After a visit to a local perfumery we return to Nice. (Buffet Breakfast)
- Day 27 - Nice - Lucerne (2 nights) Along the coast to Genoa and into Lombardy. Then into Switzerland near Como we cross Lake Lugano to the St. Gotthard range. Spectacular scenery regales us as we enter Central Switzerland to the lake of Lucerne where we spend the next 2 nights. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
Hotel: Radisson SAS (2 nights)
- Day 28 - Lucerne orientation & at leisure Lucerne orientation & at leisure. Orientation shows us the Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge. Then you are free to take a trip by cable car up a nearby mountain peak and to shop for Swiss chocolates and more! (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner)
- Day 29 - Lucerne - Paris (2 nights) Today our journey takes us back into France and on through wine-producing Burgundy to view the Savigny-Lès-Beaune vineyards. Next we're off to the exciting city of Paris, for two nights. (Buffet Breakfast)
Hotel: Sofitel Bercy (2 nights))
- Day 30 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure We ascend the Eiffel Tower to its second level for fantastic views with our local guide. Then we drive along the Champs Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe and continue to the left bank where we view Notre Dame Cathedral and the Pont Alexandre III. An included guided walking tour using our audio system takes in the Meridian the Luxembourg gardens. The rest of your day is at leisure.(Buffet breakfast)
- Day 31 - Paris - London We see the Canadian War Memorial at Vimy Ridge en route to Calais to board our ferry to Dover. Then by coach back to London. (Buffet breakfast)
