About your tour
Our Christmas in Switzerland tour is a wonderful six-night yuletide
treat! You will visit the lovely lakeside city of Lucerne - sit
back and enjoy the fabulous Lakeside and Mountain views from a cosy
café. Interlaken is known as the 'enchanting village between
the lakes'. You can explore the village and admire the imposing
surrounding mountains. During the day you will have the opportunity
to take a Horse and Carriage ride. In the evening on Christmas Day,
a glass of mulled wine and cookies await you around the Christmas
tree before your festive Christmas dinner. To complete your
holiday, join our optional visit to Kriens where we take a Gondola
ride up the Pilatus, one of the most frequently visited mountains
in Central Switzerland. At the summit, you will reach some 2070ft
above sea level, with fantastic views of the valley below.

Day 1
We travel to our overnight hotel in France.
Day 2
Journey through the Black Forest and follow the Cuckoo Clock trail
past Triburg and Schonwald. We arrive at our hotel in the Bernese
Oberland area in time for dinner.
Day 3 - Christmas Eve:
LUCERNE. Included full day excursion.
Day 4 - Christmas Day:
INTERLAKEN. Included full day excursion. Evening Christmas
Dinner.
Day 5 - Boxing Day:
KRIENS & GONDALA RIDE. Optional full day excursion.
Day 6
Journey via Frieburg and Basle to overnight hotel in France.
Day 7
Journey to Calais then return home.

Your Holiday Hotel
You'll spend four nights at the 3-star Hotel Pilatusblick, or
similar. Your comfortable hotel will boast a well-stocked bar,
comfortable lounge, well furnished en-suite bedrooms and spotlessly
clean dining restaurant where breakfast & dinner will be served
throughout your stay. You will have two overnight stays in France
on a bed and breakfast basis.
