One of Germany's most celebrated Christmas markets is the annual
Reiterlesmarkt in Rothenburg, a walled medieval city along Upper
Bavaria's Romantic Road. The Christmas market, which dates back to
the 15th century and is one of the oldest in Germany attracts
thousands of visitors who come for the magical atmosphere of
shopping amid buildings that date back to the Middle Ages.
Rudesheim is one of Germany 's prettiest Christmas Markets with
more than 120 stalls representing 12 nations. Visit the historical
romantic old quarters of town with the world famous Drosselgasse,
Christmas lighting and entertainment. Nations from all over the
world present their Christmas customs and traditions. On the market
squre you can see Europe's largest nativity scene, with life-size
figuires.

Friday
You'll leave early morning for your channel crossing to France,
where you'll settle into your reclining seat and travel towards
Germany, arriving at your hotel the same evening.
Saturday
After a lazy morning, enjoy your included visit to Rudesheim's
Christkindl Market. Here you can explore the Rhine's most popular
resort, then take drinks in one of its many wine-houses to the
sounds of live music. You'll return to your hotel late evening. Why
not try out our optional traditional wine tasting excursion

Sunday
Todays full day excursion visits the 'chocolate box' resort of
Rothenburg, with its vibrant Christmas Market. Free time is
available to explore its decorated stalls and to visit Kathe
Wohlfahrt fairytale Christkindl Grotto. You'll return to your Hotel
in time for dinner.
Monday
This morning you're homeward bound as you travel through France
towards Calais for your channel crossing to England, arriving home
late evening or early the next morning.
