An opportunity to visit three wonderful and contrasting Christmas
Markets. Ostend is famous for its skating rink built around the
main square giving that extra Christmas feel to the markets.
Valkenburg Markets are underground in the miles of caves, with a
vast array of special and unique gifts. Like everything in Bruges,
everything is very pretty - where better to buy those Belgian
chocolates for the festive season?! In the evenings you can enjoy
the wonderful pubs, clubs, bars and restaurants (not forgetting the
Casino!) that are on offer in Ostend.

Your itinerary

Friday
You'll leave home early morning for your channel crossing to
Calais, arriving at your Belgian hotel during the evening.
Saturday*
Following breakfast, the day is yours to explore Ostend's own
Christmas Market, with its colourful stalls and famous skating rink
built around the main square. The evening is free to relax. Why not
take dinner in a local restaurant and enjoy a drink in a local
Flemish pub?
Sunday
Today you have an included visit to Holland's most unique Christmas
Market, set in Valkenburg's romantically illuminated Marlstone
caves, where you'll find all manner of unusual festive ornaments,
decorations and gifts.
Monday
After breakfast you'll check out of your hotel. En-route to Calais,
we make a lunchtime visit to medieval Bruges, famous for its
romantic canals and delicious chocolates. Early afternoon you'll
leave Belgium for your channel crossing to England, arriving within
your home area late eening or early the next morning.
