Monday
After leaving your chosen departure point early morning, you'll take an afternoon channel crossing to France and check into your Belgian hotel in Ostend during the evening.

Tuesday - Passchendale, Hill 62 & Tyne Cot Cemetary
Today you'll experience the chilling realities of the WW1 battle for the Western Front, as you visit Passchendaele & Tyne Cot Cemetery, the preserved trenches of Hill 62 at Sanctuary Wood and the Spanbroekmolen Mine Crater.

Wednesday -Vimy Ridge & The Somme Valley
After an early breakfast this morning, your excursion takes you through Southern Flanders into France to see the craters and trenches of the Hindenburg Line at Vimy Ridge, before continuing to Bapaume and the fierce battle area of the Somme. Here you'll visit Newfoundland Park, Beaumont Hamel, Thiepval and the Allies H.Q. town of Albert.

Thursday - Ostend/Ypres & The Menin Gate Ceremony
This morning is at leisure in Ostend before enjoying a substantial lunch, which replaces dinner. Early afternoon, you'll leave for Ypres with an opportunity to visit the impressive 'In Flanders Fields' museum at the cloth hall, followed by free time for personal sightseeing before attending the emotive 'Last Post' ceremony at the Menin Gate and returning to Ostend later in the evening.

Friday - Bruges & Home
You can either spend this morning at leisure in Ostend, or join us on our optional excursion to Bruges. This beautiful Flemish City has more miles of canalways than Venice and is famous for its preserved medieval buildings, fine traditional lace making and delicious Belgian chocolates. Pre-book for only £10.00 adult, £8.00 child. During the afternoon you'll leave Belgium for an afternoon channel crossing to England, to arrive within your home area late evening or early next morning.
