Dutch Bulbfields & Ostend

Day 1
You'll leave your chosen departure point during the morning for an afternoon channel crossing to the continent. Upon arrival in Ostend, you'll check into your comfortable hotel with the evening free for your own enjoyment. Please note that 4-day tours include room & breakfast, and 5-day tours will also include dinner each evening.

Day 2 - Sluis
After a restful night's sleep at your hotel and a leisurely breakfast, the morning is free to explore this colourful Belgian resort. During the afternoon, you'll have an included sightseeing visit to the pretty Dutch border town of Sluis. Here you can see a traditional clog maker at work, explore the canal-side stalls and cheese shops, then perhaps visit the town's largest working windmill. During the evening, you can explore Ostend's lively pubs and sing-along bars.

Day 3 - Keukenhof Park

This morning you'll leave Ostend after breakfast for your included excursion to the colourful tulip fields at Lisse. Plenty of free time is available here to explore the Keukenhof park and to visit the masses of greenhouses with their abundance of tulip varieties and exotic plants. You'll leave late afternoon and return to your hotel in Ostend during the evening.

Day 4 - Day of Return
After breakfast you'll check out of your hotel and with your luggage safely onboard the coach you'll have the morning in Bruges - the Venice of the North. This delightful old City is famous for its romantic canalways, traditional lace making and delicious Belgian chocolates. During the afternoon you'll take your return channel crossing, arriving within your home area late evening or early the next morning.

Your hotel for this tour is situated in the very heart of Ostend. The carefully chosen accommodation is at the Westminster group of hotels or similar. They are all comfortable and of a good standard. They offer comfortable well furnished rooms with the added luxury of your own private facilities en-suite. They have well-stocked bars, relaxing lounges, television rooms and clean dining rooms where breakfast is served during your stay.
