Airport Transfers- London Gateways: Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and central London. When you book your tour with Trafalgar your transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your airport and Central London.
- Important - Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
- You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
- Flights are either booked by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
- Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
- Heathrow Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-21.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by coach. Gatwick Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-12.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by express train and coach. Transfers outside these times will be at the passengers own expense.
- In the event of unforeseen events (road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.
- No refund is available for passengers not utilising this service.

- European Gateways: With Trafalgar all passengers will receive complimentary arrival and departure transfers on the scheduled arrival and departure day of their tour at the times specified below. Please ensure your Travel Agent reserves your flight to co-ordinate with the transfer times shown.
- Trafalgar Bonus - Passengers who book Trafalgar's Land+Air package and who arrive or depart outside of these specified times on the scheduled arrival and departure day of the tour will also be provided with a transfer.
- Passengers arriving before or leaving after the scheduled tour days are not entitled to a transfer but may book and purchase one through Trafalgar providing that they also purchase the additional pre and/or post tour hotel night(s) from Trafalgar. Your itinerary Map - Day 1 - Arrive Dublin (2 nights) On arrival at Dublin airport you are met and transferred to your hotel. After check-in the remainder of your day is at leisure to perhaps admire the elegant architecture of this great city, now at the cutting edge of contemporary Art and culture. This evening, you'll meet with your Tour Director and fellow travelling companions for a welcome drink - Irish style!
Hotel: Grand Canal (2 nights)
- Day 2 - Dublin sightseeing & at leisure After a hearty Irish breakfast, our sightseeing tour with a local guide takes in this 'fair city's' highlights, from Phoenix Park and views of Dublin Castle to Trinity College and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Then there's time at leisure perhaps to window shop in O'Connell street or relax in a local pub. Tonight, why not try out some great Irish humour at one of the best Cabaret shows in Eire? (Full Breakfast)
- Day 3 - Dublin - Kildare - Waterford Today's first stop is a visit to the Irish Stud Farm at Kildare. We see some of the country's finest thoroughbreds and also visit the Japanese gardens - designed by a Japanese landscape artist at the turn of the last century. Next off to the coast of this Emerald isle and to the seaside resort of Waterford where we see the 12th century Reginald's Tower and stop to visit the Waterford Crystal showrooms. - Day 4 - Waterford - Blarney - Killarney (2nights) This morning's drive takes us along the scenic coast via Youghal and though the city of Cork to Blarney, where we stop at the castle in order to kiss the stone and acquire 'the gift of the gab'! Finally, we drive north to Killarney where we will spend the next two nights. Dinner is included at our hotel this evening. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

- Day 5 - Ring of Kerry Excursion A day of spectacular scenery on this full day excursion as we tour the 'Ring of Kerry'. Plunging cliffs, glassy lakes, granite mountains and endless beaches regale us as our trip passes Killorglin (of Puck Fair fame), Daniel O'Connell's Cahirciveen, the fishing village of Waterville and Moll's Gap in the Black Mountains before returning to Killarney and our hotel for the night. This evening why not enjoy a delicious Irish dinner in a traditional restaurant? (Full Breakfast)
- Day 6 - Killarney - Limerick - Galway - Sligo North via Limerick where the film 'Angela's Ashes' was set and where we see St. Mary' s Cathedral, King John's Castle and the Treaty Stone. From here we visit the Bunratty Castle and Folk Park before continuing through magnificent scenery to Galway Bay with views to the Aran Islands. We stop at Galway where an orientation includes the city's highlights. Then free time for lunch, before we travel into Yeats country pausing in Drumcliff to see the poet's grave before finally arriving at our Sligo hotel for dinner and overnight. - Day 7 - Sligo - Londonderry/Derry (2 nights) We drive through County Donegal before crossing the border into Northern Ireland and along the shores of Lough Erne to Enniskillen. Then up to Omagh where we stop to visit the Ulster-American Folk Park. Next via Strabane we soon reach Londonderry/Derry where sightseeing with a local guide takes us to the city walls, some of the best preserved in Europe. We also visit the 17th century St. Columb's Cathedral with its tower before heading to the Derry Craft Village and on to the quay where Irish emigrants sailed to the New World. - Day 8 - Giant's Causeway Excursion Our day begins with a drive along beautiful Antrim Coast road as we make our way to Giant's Causeway. Here we stop to see the astonishing basalt columns rising from the sea before we make our way back to Londonderry/Derry for the night. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)
- Day 9 - Londonderry/Derry - Belfast - Glasgow (2 nights) Today's drive takes us to the capital of Northern Ireland, Belfast. Here our sightseeing tour shows us Stormont Castle, the City Hall and Queen's University before heading to the port of Larne, where we board our ferry for the sea crossing to Stranraer in Scotland. Then we drive through Ayrshire to Scotland's commercial capital, Glasgow for a leisurely two-night stay. (Full Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

- Day 10 - Glasgow orientation & at leisure After breakfast our day begins with an orientation tour showing us this city's highlights. Then the rest of the day is at leisure. You may wish to do some shopping or simply visit some of the great galleries and
museums the city is famous for. Or maybe take an optional excursion to visit Robbie Burn's country. (Full Breakfast)
- Day 11 - Glasgow - Fort William - Isle of Skye - Kyle of Lochalsh We drive along a scenic route on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, then through Glencoe, site of the famous massacre. Then along the shores of Loch Linnhe in the shadow of Ben Nevis and over the sea to Bonnie Prince Charlie's Skye. Tonight we stay in the Kyle of Lochalsh. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

- Day 12 - Kyle of Lochalsh - Loch Ness - Inverness - Culloden - Aviemore Through Glen Shiel to the banks of Loch Ness where we can look out for the famous monster! Past the ruins of Urquhart Castle and romantic rolling scenery, we reach the northern end of the Loch at charming Inverness. We stop to explore this pretty town before continuing via the battlefield of Culloden to the skiing resort of Aviemore. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

- Day 13 - Aviemore - Pitlochry - Edinburgh (2 nights) We drive through the Cairngorm Mountains to Speyside to visit a whisky distillery before passing Blair Atholl and Pitlochry. From here we stop in the University town of St. Andrews, to see the famous golf course. Along the Fife Coast and across the Firth of Forth to Edinburgh - Scotland's most elegant capital. - Day 14 - Edinburgh sightseeing & at leisure After breakfast our guided sightseeing tour includes a visit to Edinburgh Castle and views of Holyrood House at either end of the Royal Mile. Then enjoy time at leisure to perhaps shop for tartans and tweeds or sample some delicious shortbread. During the Festival we'll include tickets to the spectacular Edinburgh Tattoo. - Day 15 - Depart Edinburgh Today after breakfast time to bid farewell to new-found friends as Trafalgar transfers you to the airport for your return flight home. (Full Breakfast)
