Airport Transfers- London Gateways: Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and central London. When you book your tour with Trafalgar your transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your airport and Central London.
- Important - Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
- You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
- Flights are either booked by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
- Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
- Heathrow Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-21.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by coach. Gatwick Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-12.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by express train and coach. Transfers outside these times will be at the passengers own expense.
- In the event of unforeseen events (road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.

Your itinerary Map - Day 1 - London - Bruges - Brussels Greetings as we admire the White Cliffs of Dover before our Channel crossing to Calais in France. Then into Belgium and the criss- crossing canals of Bruges. Time to buy chocolates and old lace in the boutiques before continuing to Brussels, where our Tour Director shows us the Mannekin Pis and the Grand' Place. We end the day by joining our Tour Director for a welcome drink.
Hotel: Hilton International
- Day 2 - Brussels - Amsterdam This morning after breakfast we drive to friendly Amsterdam, where an orientation includes a canal cruise in a glass-topped boat. We also enjoy a visit to a diamond-polishing factory. This evening, we will enjoy an included Rijsttafel highlight dinner. (Buffet breakfast/ Highlight Dinner)
Hotel: Mercure Aan de Amstel
- Day 3 - Amsterdam - Rhine Cruise - Heidelberg - Rhineland (Mannheim) We cross into Germany after Arnhem, and stop to see Cologne's Cathedral. Then past Bonn, we head into the Rhine Valley for a Rhine cruise past crumbling castles. We disembark at St. Goar and head to Heidelberg where we view the castle. Next on to our hotel in Mannheim. (Buffet breakfast/Dinner)
Hotel: Holiday Inn City Centre
- Day 4 - Rhineland (Mannheim) - Black Forest - Rhine Falls - Engelberg (2 nights) Today's drive takes us through the faiytale Black Forest and on to the Swiss border. After viewing the Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen, we make our way to the ski resort of Engelberg, for the next two nights. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

- Day 5 - Lucerne Excursion It's a short drive to Lucerne. Here an orientation of this charming medieval town includes a visit to the Lion Monument. The rest of the day is free, why not take a trip up a nearby mountain top? (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner)
- Day 6 - Engelberg - Liechtenstein - Innsbruck We drive past the Walensee to Liechtenstien, stopping in its capital Vaduz. Then we cross the border into Austria and follow the Arlberg route into the Tyrol and Innsbruck. Our orientation tour reveals highlighths of the Hapsburg legacy. (Buffet breakfast/Dinner)

- Day 7 - Innsbruck - Salzburg - Vienna (2 nights) Today we drive back via Germany and to Salzburg in Austria! Sightseeing on foot explores the city that featured in "The Sound of Music" and is known as Mozart's birthplace. Then we drive towards the Danube and Vienna. (Buffet breakfast)
Hotel: Trend Parkhotel Schönbrunn (2 nights)
- Day 8 - Vienna sightseeing & at leisure Today's sightseeing tour shows us the Opera, the Hofburg, City Hall,Parliament, Stadtpark and the Imperial Boulevards. Tonight, perhaps visit the Prater amusement park. (Buffet breakfast)
- Day 9 - Vienna - Venice (Main.) (2 nights) Enjoy a scenic drive to the Austrian Lake District and Italian border. Then the Carnian Alps give way to Northern Italy and Venice. Tonight, a gondola serenade will be hard to resist! (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
- Day 10 - Venice sightseeing & at leisure The delights of this city are included on a canal cruise by private motor launch to St. Mark's Square, viewing the Bridge of Sighs and more. After a visit to a glass-blowing factory, why not take a lagoon cruise to the island of Burano? (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
- Day 11 - Venice (Main.) - Assisi We cross the Apennine Mountains to mystical Assisi. We'll visit the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels and enjoy an orientation tour of the hilltop town, including St. Francis' Basilica. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

- Day 12 - Assisi - Isle of Capri - Bay of Naples We pass Monte Cassino en route to the Bay of Naples. Today's highlight is a visit to the enchanting Isle of Capri. Maybe a visit to the enchanting Ise of Capri. Then free time before we sail back to the mainland. (Buffet breakfst/Dinner)

- Day 13 - Bay of Naples - Pompeii - Rome (2 nights) This morning we drive to Pompeii where our local guide brings to life the Roman town which was literally 'petrified' by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. From here we continue our journey to the 'Eternal City', Rome for two nights. (Buffet breakfast)

- Day 14 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure Michelangelo's amazing works are included on our guided sightseeing tour using our effective audio system! First we visit the Vatican Museums where in the Sistine Chapel we admire Michelangelo's depiction of the Creation. Next in St. Peter's Basilica not only can we gaze at Michelangelo's beautiful 'cupola' but also his moving sculpture of the 'Pieta'. Then we cross the Tiber to stop at the Forum and admire the Colosseum. Afterwards free time. (Buffet breakfast)
- Day 15 - Rome - Florence Today's drive takes us through the Chianti wine- producing hills of Tuscany to Renaissance Florence. Here our guided sightseeing tour on foot includes an audio system, highlights the marble Cathedral, Signoria Square, the Baptistry and visits the Santa Croce Basilica. Then enjoy time at leisure before dinner at our hotel this evening. (Buffet breakfast/Dinner)

- Day 16 - Florence - Pisa - Nice - Monte Carlo Excursion (2 nights) After breakfast, we drive to Pisa where we see its famous Leaning Tower. Then passing the quarries of Carrara, we drive along the Motorway of Flowers via Genoa, Columbus' birthplace. From here we continue along the sparkling Riviera coastline to jet-set Nice. Later, we visit the Principality of Monaco seeing the Monte Carlo Casino before we enjoy a dinner in a specially selected restaurant this evening. (Buffet breakfast/ Highlight dinner)
Hotel: Holidy Inn (2 nights)
- Day 17 - Nice - Côte d'Azur Excursion This morning we will drive up to the medieval hilltop town of St. Paul de Vence. Later, we visit a perfumery before we return to Nice, with the rest of your day at leisure. (Buffet breakfast)
- Day 18 - Nice - Avignon - Beaune We drive through the countryside to Avignon. Here orientation includes the Papal Palace and St. Benezet Bridge. Then past Lyon and into the hills of Burgundy to the wine-town of Beaune. Tonight, why not sample some local burgundy with dinner? (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner)

- Day 19 - Beaune - Paris (2 nights) Our morning orientation shows us the ancient walls and old town square. Then time to wander the medieval streets before heading to lively Paris. Tonight, this vibrant city beckons. (Buffet Breakfast)

- Day 20 - Paris sightseeing & at leisue Today's sightseeing tour with a local guide features a drive along the Champs Elysées from the Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe and then to the Eiffel Tower where we ascend to the second level by elevator for breathtaking views across the city. Then we view Notre Dame Cathedral on the IIe de la Cite. This evening why not get together with your traveling companions for a truly Parisian dinner? (Buffet Breakfast)
- Day 21 - Paris - London Today we drive pass World War I Battlefields to Calais port for our ferry crossing. Then by coach we head to London. (Buffet Breakfast)
