Connecting flights are available to London Heathrow from the
following airports for a supplement: Aberdeen, Belfast, Durham Tees

£150 per person (includes speedlink transfer from Gatwick to
Heathrow). Please note we are unable to book connecting flights

Hotel Accommodation -
We have specially selected hotels equivalent of a minimum
European 3* standard for your hotel accommodation during this tour.
Each hotel has a bar and restaurant on site or close by and some
have a pool, whirlpool or fitness centre. All rooms have private
facilities, TV and telephone.
MS Zaandam
Accommodation for your Hawaiian Islands' cruise is on board the
five-star MS Zaandam, one of the luxury ships of the Holland
America Line fleet. The musically themed MS Zaandam offers its 1440
guests a unique shipboard experience, featuring spacious public
areas, teak promenade decks and a host of onboard activities.
All staterooms have private facilities, TV, telephone, radio and
a daily fruit basket. From the three-storey atrium, Lido Pool and
the Greenhouse Spa and Salon to the elegant Pinnacle Grill and some

Your itinerary
Hawaiian Islands' Cruise, Hollywood & San Diego
Day 1 Make your own way to the airport for the
direct flight to Los Angeles. On arrival you will be met and
transferred to your hotel in Anaheim for a three-night stay.
Day 2 This morning join our included sightseeing
tour of Los Angeles which includes Hollywood and Rodeo Drive. This
afternoon you may wish to join our optional tour to Universal
Studios.
Day 3 Today's optional excursion takes you to Palm
Springs, playground of the rich and famous, and to the historic
town of Riverside.
Day 4 Depart this morning for the transfer to
Temecula for a one-night stay in the beautiful wine-growing region
of Southern California. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 5 Don't miss this opportunity to join our
optional hot air balloon flight to witness the Southern Californian
landscape at sunrise. Depart in the early afternoon for the port of
San Diego to join the MS Zaandam for your 15-night Hawaiian
Islands' cruise. Depart 1700hrs.
Days 6-9 Enjoy leisurely days at sea as you cruise
the Pacific Ocean.
Day 10 Arrive Hilo, Hawaii 0800hrs, depart
1900hrs. Founded by missionaries in the 1820s, Hilo offers a many
attractions including bustling street markets, fabulous gardens and
the Pacific Tsunami Museum.
Day 11 Arrive Kona, Hawaii 0800hrs, depart
1900hrs. As well as its coffee plantations, Kona is also famous for
its magnificent sunsets.
Day 12 Arrive Lahaina, Maui 0700hrs, depart
2300hrs. Though bustling with modern-day activity, the former
capital of Hawaii still retains its charm and character.
Day 13 Arrive Honolulu, Oahu 0700hrs, depart
2359hrs. With its pineapple plantations, Waikiki Beach and historic
Pearl Harbor, Honolulu is the essence of Hawaii.
Day 14 Arrive Nawiliwili, Kauai 0700hrs, depart
1400hrs. This 'Garden of Eden' is famed for its spectacular
beaches, canyons and waterfalls.
Days 15-18 Time to relax on board at sea.
Day 19 Arrive Ensenada, Mexico 2000hrs, depart
2359hrs. Soak up the atmosphere as you enjoy an evening in this
lively Mexican city.
Day 20 Arrive San Diego 0700hrs for
disembarkation. Join our included orientation tour of San Diego
before the transfer to Los Angeles airport for the overnight flight
to the UK.
Day 21 Arrival at the airport. Please note: all
timings shown are correct at the time of printing and may be
subject to alteration.
Optional Excursions -
Famed for movie making and international stars, here's your chance
to visit Universal Studios, the largest film and televison studio
and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the world.
The Studios tour is a one hour guided tour around 42 acres of movie
making sets, production offices and if you're really lucky you'll
see a star! The tour includes sets from Back to the Future,
Jurassic Park III, and Curse of the Mummy's Tomb with excitement
along the way.
Universal doesn't end there. The park offers amusement rides, shows
with special effects, such as Shrek and Terminator 2 and many more
attractions to suit every age group.
No visit to Universal would be complete without calling into City
Walk, housing three blocks of stores, restaurants and clubs, before
returning back to the hotel.

Head into the desert to visit Palm Springs, the popular retreat
playground of the rich and famous, whose previous residents have
included Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Liberace and Elizabeth
Taylor. Take a spectacular ride on the aerial tramway to the 8516
feet elevation of Mt. San Jacinto State Park for breathtaking
views. Following lunch (not included) we return via the town of
Riverside, rich in history and architecture and home to the famous
Mission Inn. Here there will be time for sightseeing or to take
advantage of the many shopping opportunities in this attractive

Here is a unique opportunity to float over the Southern Californian
vineyards as the sun rises over the Temecula Valley. Admire the
country estates and ranches in their magnificent settings as you
sip the local champagne and enjoy a gourmet breakfast in a Tuscan
villa setting before returning to the hotel. (The balloon flight
lasts between 50 and 75 minutes.) Cost -
