- Day 1 - You fly to Naples where you'll be met and then transferred to your hotel in Sorrento for a seven-night stay. You can relax and enjoy your time in this delightful resort or join us on our programme of optional excursions to see the best of the surrounding area.D**
- Day 2 - Isle of capri (optional). Beautiful and glamorous, sail across the Bay of Naples to the Isle of Capri where Gracie Fields once lived. In the company of a guide we explore this picturesque island with its whitewashed houses, colourful gardens, open air cafés and intriguing alleyways and arcades full of shops selling island handicrafts, clothing, jewellery and ceramics. B,D**
- Day 3 - Naples and Solfatara (optional). Naples is rich in history - with buildings, monuments and churches dating back centuries. In the afternoon, we'll take a drive out to Solfatara near Pozzuol. This is a flat volcano where you can see hot steam rising and take a walk on the hot ground. B,D**
- Day 4 - Sorrento. Relax and enjoy some free time in the resort of Sorrento; smart shops, superb cliff scenery, a delightful harbour area, friendly locals and great food and drink. Take a break from sunbathing and sip a coffee or Limoncello - a local lemon liqueur - at one of the terrace cafés. B,D**
- Day 5 - Pompeii and Vesuvius (optional). Accompanied by a guide, discover the history and life of the great Roman city of Pompeii, buried in the eruption of 79AD. We also drive to the top of Mount Vesuvius which commands spectacular views. You can walk the final thousand metres to the summit to view inside the crater. B,D**
- Day 6 - Amalfi (optional). The 'Amalfi Drive' is said to be the most spectacular road in Europe. From Sorrento, the winding cliff-top road offers stunning panoramic views at every bend. We make a stop at Amalfi, which gives its name to this whole beautiful coast. The hillside is dominated by the beautiful Cathedral, which stands regally at the top of a great flight of steps leading up from the main square. From Amalfi we visit Ravello which nestles in the hillside, above the sea. B,D**
- Day 7 - A final day to explore in and around Sorrento. B,D**
- Day 8 - We transfer to the airport for your return flight. B
