Airport TransfersOn all tours round trip arrival and departure transfers are included on the arrival and departure day of your tour. Should you arrive or depart at other times, Trafalgar is pleased to offer inexpensive transfers via scheduled shuttle service or mini van. Please ask at the time of confirming your reservation for these services to be booked.
Your itinerary Map - Day 1 - Arrive New York City A complimentary transfer to your Trafalgar hotel is provided. Your Tour Director will be available to welcome you and provide local information for your holiday. The remainder of your day is at leisure.

- Day 2 - New York - Washington DC (2 nights) We start off the morning with an orientation tour of New York City, including Battery Park, the Big Apple's famous Times Square, the mighty Empire State Building and beautiful Central Park. Next we travel south to Washington DC, the nation's capital. This evening enjoy a welcome drink hosted by your Tour Director, followed by dinner at a local restaurant. - Day 3 - Washington DC sightseeing & at leisure Our morning sightseeing tour includes views of the Capitol, the Washington Monument, and the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials. Our afternoon is at leisure to perhaps visit one of the museums of the Smithsonian Institution or leisurely stroll and view the monuments up close. (Full Brekafast)
- Day 4 - Washington DC - Arlington Cemetery - Philadelphia We travel a short distance this morning to Arlington National Cemetery, the final resting place of many American leaders, including the Kennedys. Learn more about the history and traditions of Arlington on board the narrated Tourmobile. Then it's on to Baltimore, Maryland, with a visit to the bustling Inner Harbor. Next we arrive in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, and visit the award-winning National Constitution Center, see the Liberty Bell and view Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776. - Day 5 - Philadelphia - Lancaster County / Amish Country This morning we head to the lands of the Amish and Mennonites. We explore parts of Lancaster County where handmade crafts testify to their old-fashioned values. We pass some of the most productive farms in America growing crops the same way they did two hundred years ago. Tonight, we will dine on local specialties at an Amish family restaurant. - Day 6 - Lancaster County - Niagara Falls This morning visit an Amish Farm. Today we're off to Niagara Falls to see both the American and Horseshoe Falls. The famous waterfalls thunder and roar, forming one of the most photographed natural wonders of the world. A highlight today, is the Maid of the Mist, which takes us up close to the thundering falls. Why not join an optional dinner show tonight? (Full Breakfast)

- Day 7 - Niagara Falls - Toronto (2 nights) After a leisurely morning we continue to Toronto on the shores of Lake Ontario, one of the five great lakes. We enjoy our downtown hotel, walking distance to all of Toronto's most famous attractions. Dinner will be at our hotel this evening. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

- Day 8 - Toronto sightseeing & at leisure This morning our sightseeing tour includes Queens Park, Harbourfront, views of Casa Loma and the Provincial Parliament Buildings. The afternoon is at leisure to explore this lively city on our own. Tonight is free to discover Toronto's restaurants. Perhaps join a wonderful panoramic dinner cruise on the lake with magnificent views of Toronto's skyline. (Full Breakfast)
- Day 9 - Toronto - Ottawa - Montreal We're off to Ottawa, Canada's capital. Here our orientation tour shows us the Parliament Buildings, residences of the Prime Minister and Governor General, galleries and museums, as well as many other sights in this charming city. From here we're off to Montreal, the largest French-speaking city outside of France. This afternoon a guided sightseeing tour includes views of the old port, Place Jacques Cartier, the University of Montreal, Mount Royal and Notre Dame Cathedral. (Full Breakfast)

- Day 10 - Montreal - Quebec City (2 nights) This morning we continue along the beautiful St. Lawrence River to Quebec City, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for our two-night stay at our fabulously located hotel just outside the walled city. This evening we enjoy dinner at our hotel. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

- Day 11 - Quebec City sightseeing Today's guided sightseeing tour will take us to the Latin Quarter, "Vieux Quebec," the Place d'Armes, Dufferin Terrace and the Plains of Abraham. We also see the St. Lawrence River, Chateau Frontenac and the Citadel. Quebec has much to offer. With your afternoon and evening at leisure, perhaps stroll along the narrow streets, enjoy the views in one of the city's parks, or relax in one of Quebec's cafés. (Full Breakfast)
- Day 12 - Quebec City - Franconia Notch - Boston (2 nights) Today we travel south through the province and cross into the USA and the New England states. We stop in the beautiful White Mountains, at New Hampshire's Franconia Notch. Take in the beautiful scenery, countryside and later, coastal Maine, as we make our way to Boston, our home for the next two nights. (Full Breakfast)
Hotel: Omni Parker House (2 nights)
- Day 13 - Boston sightseeing & at leisure This morning's sightseeing tour highlights the famous Freedom Trail, where we hear about the struggle of the American Colonists and their courageous actions. During our tour we see more of Boston's landmarks including Faneuil Hall and Boston Harbor. Your afternoon is at leisure. Perhaps take a walk on Boston Common, or visit the "Bull and Finch" Pub of the TV series "Cheers" fame. This evening join your fellow travellers at a special farewell dinner at a local restaurant. - Day 14 - Boston - Depart New York City We depart Boston this morning and stop in the historic colonial city of Newport, Rhode Island, once a larger port than either Boston or New York. Our orientation tour includes the restored streets of the 18th century seaport and the stunning Ocean Drive, lined with the Gilded Age mansions of America's wealthiest families. Take time to explore this fascinating town before we return to New York City with a stop at JFK Airport and then on to the Marriott New York Financial Center for those guests enjoying more time in the Big Apple.
