Your itinerary
13-Day Cruising Break
- Day 1 - We
travel by coach from a local joining point to Belgium/northern
France for an overnight stay.
- Day 2 - We
continue south to Lake Garda for a three-night stay. B,D
- Day 3 - Venice
(included). We enjoy a full day in Venice, exploring its alleys and
waterways to see the famous sights, including the Bridge of Sighs,
St. Marks Square, and the Doge's Palace. We recommend a gondola
ride through the winding waterways or our optional panoramic cruise
around the Venice Lagoon islands, seeing Murano, famed for
glass-making; Torcello, home of the oldest building in the lagoon,
with its tilting church tower and streets fringed with brightly
painted houses, and Burano, the most colourful island on the
lagoon. B,D
- Day 4 - Lake
Garda (optional). We explore the swish resort of Riva del
Garda and the medieval town of Malcesine, with the chance to hunt
for souvenirs in the many shops, take a stroll along the lake shore
or relax in one of the tempting cafes. The cruise (optional) across
the lake to quaint Limone, with its attractive harbour and cobbled
streets, is a must. B,D

Savona to board the Costa Atlantica. Depart 1700.
