Day 1 Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Walpa Gorge, Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Sunset.
Be welcomed on arrival at Ayers Rock airport prior to 1.00
p.m. for transfer to your hotel. This afternoon drive out to Kata
Tjuta and walk into Walpa (Olga) Gorge. As evening approaches,
enjoy a glass of wine as you admire Uluru at sunset.
Stay: Ayers Rock Resort - Outback Pioneer Lodge (Budget,
shared facilities), Outback Pioneer Hotel (Standard), Desert
Gardens (First-Class), Sails in the Desert (Deluxe)
Day 2 Uluru Base Tour, Kings Canyon.
Rise early and enjoy a tea or coffee as the sun casts its
first rays on Uluru. Take a guided walk to Mutitjulu waterhole.
Tour the base of Uluru and learn about the geology and flora of the
region on the Mala Walk, or you can climb Uluru. This afternoon,
travel to the Watarrka National Park, home to Kings Canyon.
Stay: Kings Canyon Wilderness Lodge (Exclusive DB) or Kings
Canyon Resort - Lodge Rooms (Budget, shared facilities), Standard
Rooms (Standard/First-Class), Spa Rooms (Deluxe).
Day 3 Kings Canyon Guided Walk, Kings Creek Station, Alice
Springs.
Enjoy a choice of two guided walks at Kings Canyon. This
afternoon travel to the town of Alice Springs, stopping en route at
Kings Creek Cattle Station.
