- Dec 22 or Dec 29 - We break up our journey with an overnight stay in northern France.
- Dec 23 or Dec 30 - We continue south to Switzerland and arrive at our hotel in Giswil. Welcome drink on arrival. B,D
- Christmas Eve or New Years Eve - Lucerne (included). Explore the Old Town area and the lakeshore, see the covered Chapel Bridge and maybe join our optional private motor boat cruise along Lake Lucerne. B,D
- Christmas Day or New years Day - Jungfrau Railway and Grindelwald (included). We enjoy an unforgettable ride aboard the Jungfrau Railway, up through snowy alpine meadows and wonderful scenery, to Kleine Scheidegg Mountain, returning to the alpine resort of Grindelwald. B,D
- Boxing Day or Jan 2 - Horse and carriage ride (optional) and Interlaken and Brienz (optional, included on Silver Service). Enjoy an optional horse and carriage ride this morning, before an afternoon optional excursion to the famous resort of Interlaken. We also visit Brienz, with a fascinating visit to a woodcarver's workshop. B,D
- Dec 27 or Jan 3 - During our journey home, we spend a night in the Paris area. An optional 'Paris by night' tour is also available. B
- Dec 28 or Jan 4 - We arrive in Calais for our return journey home. B
