1 - Overnight in northern France
- Day
2 - South to the Lake Como area. B,D
- Day
3 - To Florence (included). Enjoy time in the
Renaissance city of Florence. On south to the spa resort of
Chianciano Terme for the night. B,D
- Day
4 - To the eternal city of Rome (included). Join
our optional guided sightseeing tour which includes the Colosseum
and St Peter's Square. From Rome to the Sorrento Peninsula for
three nights. B,D
- Day
5 -Pompeii (included). See the haunting ruins, then
drive up to Mount Veuvius which commands spectacular views and why
not walk the final kilometre to the summit to view the crater.

6 - Capri (optional). Sail across the Bay of Naples
to this lovely island where Gracie Fields once lived. B,D
- Day
7 - To the foot of Italy to cross to Sicily and on
to the resort town of Taormina Mare, on one of the most scenic
coasts in Italy, for four nights. B,D

8 - Mount Etna & Taormina (included). Mount
Etna is the highest active volcano in Europe at 3350 metres. Our
coach takes us to within 1900 metres and if the weather is good,
visit the summit on an optional drive by jeep. Later, enjoy
sightseeing time in Taormina. B,D
- Day
9 - Stromboli(included). Afternoon and evening tour
which includes a boat ride from Milazzo to the island of Panarea,
then to the port of San Pietro, from where we can walk, or, perhaps
take a local taxi to the village for dinner and a swim! In the
evening, the boat leaves for the island of Stromboli to view the
mighty volcano at night - the best time to see the mountain's fiery
explosions. We watch from offshore, before returning by sea to
Milazzo, with a light dinner on board. B,D

10 - Syracuse (optional). Once the most powerful of
all Mediterranean cities and home of the famous Archimedes. Our
guide will show us the delights of this lovely town which includes
a visit to the Greek Temple. B,D
- Day
11 - To mainland Italy and north to Fiuggi for the

- Day
12 - To Pisa (included). See the Leaning Tower and
the Square of Miracles and enjoy the history on our optional guided
tour. Overnight in Montecatini Terme.B,D

13 - North to the Austrian Tirol for two nights.

- Day
14 - Grossglockner Glacier (included). Travel along
the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse to the top of Austria's highest
mountain, the Grossglockner (Big Bell), where we can view Europe's
largest glacier from the viewing platform. A truly formidable
sight. B,D

15 - To Belgium for an overnight stay. B
