7-Day Festive Austrian
Break
- Dec
22 - We break up our journey with a night in
Belgium.
- Dec
23 -Onwards south through Germany to our hotel in
Austria to arrive in time for welcome drink and dinner.

- Christmas
Eve - Salzburg (included). Excursion to Mozart's
city, Salzburg, with time to visit the Christmas market in the
morning. Salzburg offers lovely squares and medieval lanes, Gothic
churches and quaint cafes. We return to the hotel where Santa Claus
will be waiting with punch and cakes. B,D
- Christmas
Day - Horse and Carriage Ride (included). Morning
at leisure, then we enjoy our Christmas turkey lunch. This
afternoon we include a horse and carriage ride (weather permitting)
in the Gosau Valley. In the evening, we tuck into our Christmas Day
Gala Dinner, with music and dancing. B,L,D
- Boxing
Day - Bad Ischl and Hallstatt (optional, included
on Silver Service). We visit the picturesque lakeside villages on
the shores of the Hallstattersee, Bad Ischl and Hallstatt.
