Your hotels -
You'll stay for five nights at the 4-star Hotel Messmer,
centrally located in Bregenz, a short walk from Lake Constance. The
hotel has a restaurant, bar, lift and sauna. All bedrooms have T.V.
and telephone. Overnight stays in Belgium and Germany are in
city-style hotels.
The Princess Juliana is a 3-star standard cruise ship. On board
facilities include three decks, including a sun deck, and a lounge,
bar and restaurant. All cabins on the main deck have twin beds,
telephone and hairdryer.
Hotel Messmer
Located in the center of Bregenz on Lake Constance, the Messmer
hotel features 80 rooms and 4 apartments provided with every
comfort. All have a bath, shower, WC, hairdryer, satellite TV,

Dec 22 - We break up our journey with a
night in Belgium.

Dec 23 - We continue south and arrive at
our hotel in Bregenz, Austria, and stay for five nights. Welcome
drink on arrival. B,D

Christmas Eve - Füssen and
Hohenschwangau (included). Join our excursion through the stunning
Tirol region and north into Bavaria. We visit the lovely town of
Füssen and Hohenschwangau, where fairytale Neuschwanstein
Castle lies perched above the village (entrance extra). This unique
castle was built by King Ludwig and is recognised all over the
world. B,D

Christmas Day - St. Anton (included) and
Horse and Carriage Ride (optional). Our excursion to the famous
winter resort of St. Anton is where you'll be able to watch the
skiers tackle the slopes. During the day, you can take a cable car
(optional) to enjoy the atmosphere of this popular mountain
destination and later, you have the opportunity to take an optional
horse and carriage ride. We return to our hotel for dinner and live

Boxing Day - Swiss Glacier Express
(included) and Vaduz (included). This unforgettable journey on the
Swiss Glacier Express takes us through some breathtaking alpine
scenery from Chur to Andermatt, via the Oberalp Massif. We continue
by coach briefly calling into Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein,
en route to our hotel. B,D

Dec 27 - Lindau (optional). We enjoy a
half-day excursion to the medieval island town of Lindau, which is
delightfully set on Lake Constance. B,D

Dec 28 - Rhine Falls (included) and Titisee
(included). We leave Bregenz and travel to Schaffhausen, and the
spectacular 'Rhine Falls', then into the Black Forest, with a short
stop at lakeside Titisee, before arriving at our overnight hotel in
Germany. B,D

Dec 29 - Heidelberg (included). This
morning, we head to romantic Heidelberg for a brief visit.
Afterwards, we head to Cologne and join our cruise ship, the
Princess Juliana. B,D

Dec 30 - Free morning in Cologne to see the
famous Dom (or cathedral) and stroll along Hohe Strasse's shops. We
begin our upstream cruise to Andernach in the afternoon.

New Years Eve - Rüdesheim (included).
Our cruise continues through the dramatic Rhine Gorge, past the
famous Loreley Rock to Oberwesel. After lunch, we visit
Rüdesheim home of the 'Drosselgasse', a narrow street lined
with shops and bars, many of which have live music through the day.
We rejoin the ship in Koblenz ahead of tonight's celebrations and
Gala dinner party. B,L,D

New Years Day - Moselle Valley with
Winetasting (optional). A leisurely start with brunch, before our
excursion to the Moselle Valley, with winetasting at the House of
Anton Hammes. Later, we cruise downstream, past the Siebengebirge
hills and Remagen, to the former capital city of Bonn. Br,D

Jan 2 - We disembark and journey by coach
from Bonn to Calais, then home. B
