- Day 1 - Make your own way to your departure airport, then fly to Vienna, where we meet you and transfer to your hotel for a four-night stay.D
- Day 2-4 - Our local representative will visit you and help you to make the most of your free time and offer a superb programme of optional excursions.3xB,D
- Vienna Sightseeing (optional) - Our guided tour will introduce the principal sights of the city, including the Hofburg Palace, the Parliament building, the Opera House, National Theatre and the City Hall. We see the house where Johann Strauss composed the Blue Danube Waltz, before passing the Prater Wheel made famous by the film 'The Third Man'.
- Budapest (optional) - Today you will have the full day to discover the Hungarian capital of Budapest. The city is composed of two historically independent communities, Buda and Pest, separated by the majestic River Danube.
- Vienna Woods (optional) - We take a scenic drive into the heart of the Vienna Woods, a large and rambling series of hills and mountains, densely wooded and littered with vineyards that flourish in the mild climate. We see the delightful Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz before visiting the historic site of Mayerling. We then continue through the romantic Helenental Valley and visit the delightful spa town of Baden.
- Day 5 - Transfer to the airport for your return flight home. B
