UK to Casablanca
Your door-to-door driver takes you to your choice of airport.
See page 7. On arrival at Casablanca airport, you will be met and
transferred to the centrally located 4 Diamond Sheraton Hotel or
similar for 1 night.
2. Casablanca to Fez
Start your mystical journey today with a visit to the capital,
Rabat and the mausoleum of King Mohammed V and the Royal Palace. On
to the 11th century imperial city of Meknes making a rare visit
inside the Mosque and see the Bab el-Mansour gateway before headig
off to Fez and your hotel for two nights, the Crown Palace (4

3. Fez
Experience the sights, sounds and exotic scents of the medina
with a chance to hone your bartering skills in the Bazaar. Explore
the old streets and one of the oldest universities in the world.
Tonight enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and folklore show with
belly dancing. BD
4. Fez to Erfoud
Head for the snow-capped High Atlas Mountains today leaving the
bustling city behind you, encountering palm fringed towns and the
cedar forrests of Azrou leading to Erfoud, on the edge of the
Sahara Desert. Your home for one night is the Belere Hotel (4

5. Erfoud to
Ouarzazate
Start today at the oasis of Tinehir, noted for its silver and
jewellery workshops. Then take a detour to explore part of the
Todra Gorge - the Grand Canyon of the Sahara. Head towards
Ouarzazate, the film capital of Morocco, where everything from Star
Wars to Lawrence of Arabia has been filmed. Tonight's hotel is the
Le Berbere Palace (4 Diamond). BLD
6. Ouarzazate to
Marrakesh
This morning, stop at one of Morocco's finest kasbahs in the
village of Ait Benhaddou en route to Marrakesh, venturing via the
spectacular Tizi n'Tichka Pass and through green rural landscapes
and charming mountain villages such as Taddert. Your home for 2
nights is the 4 Diamond Kempinsky Mansour or similar. BD
7. Marrakesh
Your sightseeing today starts with the Medina (old town), the
Koutoubia Mosque and the secluded tombs of the Saadi dynasty. Enjoy
the storytellers and dancers in bustling Djemaa El Fna Square
before a visit to a traditonal Moroccan family home to watch a mint
tea preparation ceremony. B
8. Marrakesh to
Casablanca
Head towards the Atlantic coast before reaching Casablanca. The
rest of the afternoon is yours to explore this vibrant town at your
own pace. Your hotel this evening is the 4 Diamond Sheraton or
similar. BD
9. Casablanca to UK
Transfer to Casablanca airport for your flight to your chosen
airport. Your door-to-door driver will meet you and take you home.
