Its all aboard the Glacier Express today for a stunning journey

11. The Valley of
Waterfalls
Travel along the Grindelwald valley admiring the Wetterhorn
Peaks and on to Lauterbrunnen and the Staubbach Falls. Take an
optional funicular up to the tumbling Trummelbach Falls. B
12. Interlaken to
Engelberg
See Swiss rural life throughout the ages at the Ballenburg
Open-Air Museum and then continue over the Brunig Pass to Lake

Take a cog-wheel railway to the summit of Mount Pilatus this

UK
Transfer to Zurich airport for your flight home where you
door-t0-door driver will meet you and take you home. B
Travel notes You will be
taking a ride on board the Glacier Express which is, without doubt,
one of the world's most scenic train journeys. Get a completely
different perspective of the scenery on board. This is a well paced
tour with two night stays in five of the eights cities visited and
there are no excessively long driving days. There are a good
selection of traditional and modern hotels reflecting the local
styles of the Swiss regions, for example in Zermatt and Villars.
The hotels in Interlaken and Lugano are a little more sedate in
style. This tour will appeal to first timers and those more
experienced who would like to take an in depth look at Switzerland.
