Travel notes The restaurants
on this tour serve fine traditional foods as well as offering
plenty of Western choices. Many Indians don't eat much meat, so
vegetarians will find they're well looked after with a huge variety
of interesting dishes. Be prepared to travel some long distances.
Although roads can be rough, the scenery of life passing by makes
the journey worthwhile. India can be very hot, so bring your
lightest cotton clothing. The tour sometimes involves a lot of
walking, so we recommend that you have a good level of fitness and
bring a comfortable pair of shoes.
