Your door-to-door driver takes you to London Heathrow for your
Iberia flight to Santiago, via Madrid.
2. Santiago
Head straight to the charming Providencia district and settle in
at the 3 diamond Hotel Providencia for two nights. This afternoon,
visit the Concha y Toro winery in Pirque Valley to learn about the
wine-making process and taste a sample, before visiting Cajon del
Maipo Valley for incredible views of the Andes Mountains, Maipo

Discover the highlights of Chile's capital on this morning's
tour including visits to the Civic Centre, Government Palace, Main

4. Santiago to Puerto Montt and Puerto
Varas
Fly south to the port area of Puerto Montt and begin a
sightseeing tour of this beautiful region. Admire the volcanoes
reflected in the lakes and explore the city of Puerto Montt,
visiting the Plaza de Armas, Pioneers' Monuments, Fisherman's
Wharf, the Craftsmen's Market of Angelmo and Tenglo Channel. This
afternoon, head to the town of Puerto Varas for spectacular views
of the Osorno Volcano and Lake Llanquihue, and one night at the

Varas to Bariloche
You'll journey through magnificent mountain and lake scenery
today as you cross the Andean divide to the Argentinean border at
Puyehue. This spectacular drive offers a wealth of awe-inspiring
scenery and beautiful lake views en route to the picturesque
Swiss-like hill-town of Bariloche, complete with chocolate shops,
fondue restaurants and an idyllic lakeside myrtle forest. For the
next two nights, you will be welcomed at the 4 diamond Crowne Plaza

Enjoy a morning's sightseeing tour of Bariloche's spectacular
surrounding scenery, part of the famous Patagonia region, and take
the chair-lift ride for fantastic views of the lakeland below.

Aires
Fly to Argentina's capital today and head straight to the
bustling market area of San Telmo, filled with small shops,
antiques dealers and bohemian artists. Visit La Recoleta, a
fashionable area offering chic cafes, galleries and a trendy
tree-lined park before settling in at the centrally-located
Sheraton Libertador (4 diamond) for three nights. Enjoy an
evening's entertainment at the optional tango show. B
8. Buenos
Aires
Tour this sophisticated, vibrant city this morning and enjoy the
sights and sounds of Buenos Aires' most famous barrios. Begin in La
Boca, the port district and colourful heart of Buenos Aires,
renowned for its pizzerias, lively cantinas and brightly painted
corrugated iron houses. Continue through the old quarters of San
Telmo to the Recoleta Cemetery, a necropolis of the rich and
famous, including Eva Peron, before an afternoon to explore on your
own. B

Colonia or Buenos Aires
Take a full-day optional trip by high-speed catamaran ferry
across La Plata, the widest river in the world, to Colonia in
Uruguay. Sightsee in the quaint Old Town, declared a UNESCO World
Heritage Site, and spend an afternoon at leisure enjoying the easy
pace of this vintage township. Alternatively, relax with a free day
in Buenos Aires. B

Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls
Fly to the Argentinean side of Iguazu Falls this morning and
head straight to the 3 diamond Sheraton Hotel, your home for two
nights where you can choose a fall-side room for a supplement
(subject to availability). On certain dates, you'll be welcomed at
the Hotel Das Cataratas on the Brazilian side of the falls instead.

Iguazu Falls
Spend the day on an optional trip to Iguazu National Park and
view the Argentinean side of the awe-inspiring Iguazu Falls.
Bending in a horseshoe-shaped curve over three kilometres wide, the
falls divide into 275 separate powerful cascades. Considered to be
the most panoramic in the world, the falls span the borders of
Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay and are protected by sub-tropical
forests filled with wildlife, exotic birds and colourful flora. For
a close-up look you will certainly want to brave the walkway over
the river. Otherwise, your day is at leisure. B

Iguazu Falls to Rio de Janeiro
Head to the Brazilian side of the falls today for spectacular
panoramic views from Iguazu River Canyon and the chance to see the
falls from above on an optional helicopter flightseeing tour
(bookable locally). Later, fly to Rio de Janeiro and settle in to
your home for two nights, the 4 diamond Sofitel Rio Palace Hotel,
which is close to the world-famous Copacabana Beach (or similar).

de Janeiro
Explore Rio on this morning's city tour including visits to the
Copacabana and Ipanema beaches and the downtown areas, before
taking a cable car ride to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain. At
1300ft, the summit provides incredible panoramic views of the city,
the beautiful beaches that surround it and Guanabara Bay below.
You've a free afternoon to explore at your own pace before an
evening's optional samba show and barbecue dinner. B
14. Rio
de Janeiro
Travel via a small-cog railway up the mountain of Corcovado for
a visit to the world-famous Christ the Redeemer statue. Built in
1931, this 120ft statue stands atop Corcovado's 2300ft peak
overlooking the city below and is visible from virtually everywhere
in Rio both day and night. You'll also see Tijuca National Park,
one of the largest city forests in the world. This afternoon, check
in at Rio de Janeiro International Airport for your Iberia flight,
