Travel notes
Pack your winter woolies for this journey as this is truly Canada
in Snow time. A proper winter coat and boots are a must. This tour
is a blend of busy cities and peaceful, scenic countryside, just as
beautiful in the winter as in the summer. A relaxed pace with
plenty of opportunity, at the resort-style Fairmont properties in
Point au-Pic and Montebello, to be as adventurous as you wish.
Plenty of activities from a relaxed sleigh ride to the more active
dog sledding or snow shoeing are available (a charge is payable
locally for these activities). On Day 3, please note, departures in
January and February will see the final construction of the Ice
Hotel. November and December departures will see the hotel under
construction). Choose your departure carefully if you wish to visit
Canada during one of the festivals noted below. Sadly, we cannot
guarantee snow, but we have never been disappointed by the scenery
yet.
