1 London to Toronto
After being chauffeured from your door to London Heathrow, fly
to Toronto on Air Canada's non-stop route. Unpack and relax at the
downtown Delta Chelsea Hotel (4 diamond), your home for three
nights.
2. Toronto
Take in the main sights of Canada's largest city on this
morning's tour, with entry to the CN Tower. This afternoon, explore
under your own steam.
3. Niagara Falls or Toronto
See Niagara Falls on an optional trip. Otherwise, your day is
free.
4. Toronto to Calgary and Banff
Fly over the prairies and Great Lakes to Calgary, then follow
the Trans Canada Highway towards the Rocky Mountains. Settle in at
the Mount Royal Hotel (3 diamond).
5. Banff
Explore the stunning scenery around Banff on an optional tour or
spend the day at leisure.
6. Banff to Lake Louise or Emerald Lake
More breathtaking scenery en route to Emerald Lake (or Lake
Louise on the Superior option; see above right). Relax for one
night at the 3 diamond Emerald Lake Lodge with fantastic lake
views.
7. Lake Louise or Emerald Lake to Jasper
Journey northwards through the Icefields Parkway, with an
optional Ice Explorer ride. Reaching Jasper, check in at the 3
diamond Jasper Inn (no air-conditioning).
8. Jasper
Make the most of a free day in the Athabasca Valley with an
optional trip: go river-rafting through Jasper National Park and
visit Maligne Lake.
9. Jasper to Quesnel
Your first day aboard the Rocky Mountaineer in RedLeaf Service -
you'll pass some memorable views. Arriving in the logging town of
Quesnel, settle in at the Best Western Tower Inn (2 diamond). B

10. Quesnel to Whistler
Back on board, take in the arid Fraser Canyon, ranches, hills,
and Pemberton Valley's canyons and farms. In Whistler, the 4

Spend the day as you choose in this all-seasons resort - ride a
mountain gondola for great views.
12. Whistler to Vancouver
Traverse the Sea to Sky Highway, stopping to take the Grouse

the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Continue to Vancouver's Coast Plaza

A full day of leisure to explore further, shop or simply

14. Victoria or Vancouver
An optional trip to Victoria with time at Butchart Gardens.
15. Vancouver and flight home
Do as you please before your overnight Air Canada flight direct
to London Heathrow.

Your driver will collect you from Heathrow.
Travel notes
We've included a two-day trip on the Rocky Mountaineer to give you
the chance to travel on the train's new route through rural British
Columbia. There's a lot of ground to cover, so the train leaves
Jasper early on day 9; the amazing scenery makes it all worthwhile.
Remember to take an overnight bag for your stay in Quesnel, where
your hotel will be allocated by Rocky Mountaineer staff. You've got
the choice of two different levels of accommodation on this tour,
so you can tailor it to suit you. The Superior option offers
increased levels of comfort, with stays in Fairmont hotels. While
we've made sure there's plenty of sightseeing included during your
tour, we've also left you some free time to either join additional
excursions or do exactly as you choose.
