Note: No visa can be issued at borders in Europe. Airport Transfers- London Gateways: A Trafalgar bonus - transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and central London. When you book your Costsaver tour with Trafalgar your transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your airport and Central London.
- Important - Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
- You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
- Flights are either booked by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
- Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
- Heathrow Express operates between 05.10-23.30. Gatwick Express operates inbound services between 05.20-23.45 and outbound services from 04.30-23.45. Transfers outside of these times are at the passengers own expense.
- In the event of unforeseen events (road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.

Your itinerary Map - Day 1 - London - Amsterdam A warm welcome from our Tour Director as we drive to Dover and admire the White Cliffs on our ferry crossing to Calais in France. Then on by coach through Belgium crossing the Dutch border near Breda on our approach to lively Amsterdam. A short orientation on arrival shows us Dam Square and the Tower of Tears. (Dinner)
Hotel: Ibis Schiphol
- Day 2 - Amsterdam - Berlin (2 nights) This morning we cross the great rivers of Dutch history to the German border. Next into lower Saxony via Osnabruck and Hannover as we drive along the route once known as the 'Berlin Corridor' to our Berlin hotel. Berlin's nightlife is famous... you may wish to sample some of it for yourself this evening. (Buffet Breakfast)
Hotel: Park Plaza (2 nights)
- Day 3 - Berlin sightseeing & at leisure Today's sightseeing includes this fascinating city's main points of interest. Later, why not take an optional to nearby Potsdam or visit the Pergamon on the Museum Island? (Buffet Breakfast)
- Day 4 - Berlin - Prague (2 nights) We drive through the Spreewald Forest to 'Florence on the Elbe' - Dresden. Here an orientation shows us the Zwinger Palace, Semper Opera and 18th century Cathedral. On through Swiss Saxony to the Czech frontier and ancient Prague. Tonight, why not enjoy an introduction to Prague with a trip through the old city?(Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

- Day 5 - Prague sightseeing & at leisure Our morning sightseeing features Hradçany Castle, the Cathedral of St. Vitus and the Old Town Square.
Later, with time on your own, why not visit a royal castle outside the city or enjoy a lunch cruise on the Vlatva River - Smetana's 'Moldau'? (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
- Day 6 - Prague - Budapest (2 nights) Today's journey takes us via Brno, one-time headquarters of Napoleon, to the palace of Lednice, where we visit the gardens. From here we head into Austria and along the Danube Valley to Budapest where we spend the next two nights. (Buffet Breakfast)
Hotel: Holiday Inn (2 nights)
- Day 7 - Budapest sightseeing & at leisure The main sights of Buda and Pest are featured on our sightseeing tour. We see the Fishermen's Bastion, Gellert Hill, Heroes' Square, Church of St. Matthias, and the Royal Palace. Later, with time at leisure perhaps take an excursion to Szentendre and shop for embroidery and pottery. After dark, why not take a cruise on the Danube and see this illuminated city? (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
- Day 8 - Budapest - Vienna (2 nights) This morning after breakfast our first stop is at the historically rich town of Györ. Then we cross over the border into Austria and soon arrive in our Viennese hotel for two nights. (Buffet Breakfast)

- Day 9 - Vienna sightseeing & at leisure Today's morning sightseeing tour includes a drive along the Imperial Boulevards with views of
the Opera, the Parliament and Hofburg. Next there's time on your own to perhaps shop in elegant Kärtnerstrasse, take a trip to Schönbrunn Palace or sample some Sachertorte for which Vienna is so famous! (Buffet Breakfast)
- Day 10 - Vienna - Munich After breakfast we enjoy a scenic day as we travel along the Danube Valley and through the Salzkammergut to the city of Mozart's birth - Salzburg. Here an orientation tour shows us the Mirabell Palace and views of the castle-fortress plus the 'Getreidegasse'. We'll also see Mozart's birthplace as well as many of the locations used in the film 'The Sound of Music'. From here we continue to fun-loving Munich for the night. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

- Day 11 - Munich - Rhineland (Wiesbaden) An orientation in Munich includes views of the Marienplatz, the town hall, with its 'Glockenspiel' clock and the Olympic Complex. Next we travel on the 'Romantic Road' to medieval Rothenburg. On arrival we see the ancient fortifications with time to shop for hand-made Christmas decorations. Finally, on to our Rhineland hotel. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Hotel: Ramada Micador
- Day 12 - Rhineland (Wiesbaden) - Brussels We start the day with a relaxing cruise along the Rhine River. We'll see medieval castles and terraced vineyards as well as the mighty Lorelei Rock before we disembark at Boppard. On through Koblenz to Cologne to see its Cathedral. Next we're off to Belgium at Aachen skirting around the Ardennes to its capital Brussels. Here an orientation shows us the Manneken Pis and Grand' Place before perhaps relaxing over some 'moules frites' in a typical brasserie. (Buffet Breakfast)
Hotel: Ibis Centre Ste Catherine
- Day 13 - Brussels - London This morning we drive through Flanders to France and the port of Calais where we board our ferry back
to England. After we disembark we return to London by coach. (Buffet Breakfast)
