Airport Transfers- London Gateways: Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and central London. When you book your tour with Trafalgar your transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your airport and Central London.
- Important - Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
- You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
- Flights are either booked by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
- Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
- Heathrow Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-21.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by coach. Gatwick Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-12.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by express train and coach. Transfers outside these times will be at the passengers own expense.
- In the event of unforeseen events (road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.

- European Gateways: With Trafalgar all passengers will receive complimentary arrival and departure transfers on the scheduled arrival and departure day of their tour at the times specified below. Please ensure your Travel Agent reserves your flight to co-ordinate with the transfer times shown.
- Trafalgar Bonus - Passengers who book Trafalgar's Land+Air package and who arrive or depart outside of these specified times on the scheduled arrival and departure day of the tour will also be provided with a transfer.

Your itinerary Map - Day 1 - London - Amsterdam (2 nights) Greetings from our Tour Director, as we drive to the White Cliffs of Dover for our sea crossing to Calais in France. We drive into Belgian Flanders and via Antwerp, the city of spires to the Dutch border and fields of turning windmills. Then via Utrecht we arrive in friendly Amsterdam. An excellent introduction to the city and to your travelling companions and Tour Director on our canal cruise in a glass topped boat in which our Welcome Dinner and drink will be served. Enjoy a delicious meal as we glide past 17th century gabled houses along a spider's web of canals. (Welcome Dinner)

- Day 2 - Amsterdam orientation and excursion to Volendam After breakfast we will enjoy a cruise in a glass covered boat along Amsterdam's spiderweb of canals, criss crossing much of this pretty city with its 17th century gabled houses. Then we visit a diamond cutting and polishing factory before heading out to the Dutch countryside. We arrive in the quaint seaside port of Volendam, protected by a well-constructed dyke and where many of the inhabitants still dress in tradtional costume. We also visit a cheese farm as well as a wooden shoe workshop to learn how Dutch clogs are made. The balance of the day is at leisure to shop, explore museums or hang out in the local 'brown bars' (Buffet Breakfast)
- Day 3 - Amsterdam - Rhine Cruise - Frankfurt (Sulzbach) We drive past Arnhem, scene of famous World War II action and into Germany making a stop at Cologne to see its gothic Cathedral. Next we by-pass Bonn to embark on a relaxing Rhine cruise at Boppard, gliding past medieval castles and ancient vineyards. Disembarking in St. Goar, we rejoin our coach and drive to our Rhineland hotel for the night. (Buffet Breakfast, Dinner)

- Day 4 - Frankfurt (Sulzbach) - Heidelberg - Rhine Falls - Lucerne (2 nights) Today begins with a drive to Heidelberg to see its Castle. Then on through the Black Forest seeing Lake Titisee to the Swiss border, stopping at the mighty Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen en route to Lucerne. (Buffet Breakfast, Dinner)

- Day 5 - Lucerne orientation & at leisure Our morning orientation tour features the Chapel Bridge and the moving Lion Monument. Then free time to shop and perhaps take a trip up a nearby mountain peak. (Buffet Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 6 - Lucerne - Liechtenstein - Innsbruck We pass the Walensee to Liechtenstein, stopping in its capital Vaduz. Later we cross into Austria via the Arlberg Pass and the Tyrol, to mountain-ringed Innsbruck. Here we see the Golden Roof and more on our orientation tour. Tonight after dinner, why not join in the fun of a Tyrolean Folklore show? (Buffet Breakfast, Dinner)

- Day 7 - Innsbruck - Salzburg - Vienna (2 nights) This morning it's back into Germany to Salzburg in Austria! Here our walking tour with a local expert explores the city that featured in "The Sound of Music" and is best known as Mozart's birthplace. From here we will drive to Imperial Vienna. (Buffet Breakfast)
Hotel: Parkhotel Schönbrunn (2 nights)
- Day 8 - Vienna sightseeing & at leisure The Opera, Hofburg, City Hall, Stadtpark, Parliament and the Imperial Boulevards are all highlighted our sightseeing tour. We also include a walking tour which will take you into the heart of old Vienna at 'Am Hof'. Later, with time at leisure relax or maybe sightsee further. Tonight, perhaps enjoy dinner at a nearby 'heurige' wine village. (Buffet Breakfast)
- Day 9 - Vienna - Venice (Main.) (2 nights) Today's journey takes us across the Alps to the Semmering Pass and on to the Austrian Lake District and Italy's border. From here we continue to the Carnian Alps which give way to the plains of Italy and magical Venice where we stay for two nights. (Buffet Breakfast, Dinner)

- Day 10 - Venice sightseeing & at leisure Today we enjoy a canal cruise by private launch to St. Mark's Square viewing the Bridge of Sighs and Doges' Palace. After a visit to a glass-blowing factory, there's time at leisure, perhaps to experience a relaxing gondola serenade. (Buffet Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 11 - Venice (Main.) - Rome (2 nights) After breakfast our drive today will take us along the Autostrada del Sole and over the Apennine Mountains past Umbrian hilltop towns to Rome for our two-night stay. This evening, why not dine at a local trattoria? (Buffet Breakfast)

- Day 12 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure Today's sightseeing tour with a local guide using our effective audio system starts with one of the World's most important Art works - Michelangelo's ceiling of the Sistine Chapel situated in the Vatican Museums. Next we visit St. Peter's Basilica before we cross the Tiber for a walking tour which stops at the Roman Forum and views the Colosseum. Your afternoon is at leisure. (Buffet Breakfast)
- Day 13 - Rome - Florence We drive through the Chianti wine-producing region of Tuscany to Florence. A guided walking tour with an audio system, includes the Cathedral, Signoria Square, the Baptistry and visits the Santa Croce Basilica. After, time is your own to do as you please, maybe shop for leather and gold. (Buffet Breakfast, Dinner)

- Day 14 - Florence - Pisa - Monaco - Nice (2 nights) We are off to Pisa with its Leaning Tower. Then on past Carrara and along the Motorway of Flowers via Genoa, Columbus' birthplace. We reach the Principality of Monaco where we visit one of the Casinos in Monte Carlo. After a dinner of typical Provencal cuisine this evening we make our way to Nice. (Buffet Breakfast, Highlight Dinner)

- Day 15 - St. Paul de Vence and Pefumery Excursion This morning we drive to medieval St. Paul de Vence, a wonderful place to shop for hand-made souvenirs and works of Art. Then off to the Fragonard Perfumery, home of French perfume before returning to Nice. (Buffet Breakfast)
- Day 16 - Nice - Avignon - Lyon Today we drive along the Riviera and through Provence to Avignon. From here we soon reach Lyon, where orientation shows us the Place Bellecour and the Fourvière hill, before dinner and our overnight stay. (Buffet Breakfast, Dinner)

- Day 17 - Lyon - Beaune - Paris (2 nights) This morning we stop at medieval Beaune. Then we drive past the vineyards of Nuits St. Georges and Gevrey Chambertin as we approach the Forest of Fontainebleau to Paris! (Buffet Breakfast)
Hotel: Evergreen Laurel (2 nights)
- Day 18 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure After breakfast, our morning sightseeing tour with a local guide begins with a drive from the Place de la Concorde along the Champs Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe and then to the Eiffel Tower where we ascend to the second level by elevator. Then we enjoy views of Notre Dame Cathedral on the Ile de la Cité and other great monuments. An included walking tour takes us to a more secret part of the city as we follow the Meridien line in the Luxembourg gardens - reminiscent of the 'Da Vinci Code'. Our effective audio system will reveal to you the significance of this location! Tonight, why not go out on the town to a famous Parisian cabaret? (Buffet Breakfast)
- Day 19 - Paris - London We travel across Northern France via the Canadian War Memorial at Vimy Ridge. Past German World War II bunkers, we drive to Calais. Here we board a ferry to Dover and by coach continue back to London. (Buffet Breakfast)
