Airport Transfers- London Gateways: Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and your London hotel. When you book your Costsaver tour with Trafalgar, we give you the opportunity to purchase inexpensive transfers to and from the airport. Trafalgar has negotiated special rates for the HOTELINK transfer from the London Airports to the door of your Trafalgar London hotel.
- Please note that from Gatwick airport this service utilises the Gatwick Express train to Victoria Station and you will then be transported to your Trafalgar hotel by Hotelink shuttle.
- Important - Please Note Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
- You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
- Flights are either booked by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
- Heathrow Airport: Hotelink transfers from Heathrow Airport to you Trafalgar hotel operates between 06.00-21.30. Hotelink transfers to Heathrow Airport on day of departure are timed to connect with scheduled flights operating between 08.00-23.00.

- Trafalgar Bonus - Passengers who book Trafalgar's Land+Air package and who arrive or depart outside of these specified times on the scheduled arrival and departure day of the tour will also be provided with a transfer.
- Passengers arriving before or leaving after the scheduled tour days are not entitled to a transfer but may book and purchase one through Trafalgar providing that they also purchase the additional pre and/or post tour hotel night(s) from Trafalgar. Your itinerary- Day 1 - London - Brussels Brussels After a warm welcome from our Tour Director, we drive through beautiful Kent countryside to Dover. Here we board our ferry for the short sea crossing to Calais in France. From here we rejoin our coach and continue to Brussels, the capital of Belgium. This evening, why not take a stroll to the Grand' Place?
Hotel: Novotel Centre Tour Noire
- Day 2 - Brussels - Würzburg Today's journey takes us into Germany, where the tranquil scenery of medieval castles and hillside vineyards drift by on our leisurely Rhine cruise. We see the Lorelei Rock before heading to Würzburg in Bavaria. On our arrival we will admire the view over the city from this vantage point before making our way to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Hotel: Mercure Am Mainufer
- Day 3 - Würzburg - Prague (2 nights) We drive to the Czech border and then cross the undulating hills of the Czech countryside via Pilsen.
Next it's a short drive to Prague for the next two nights. This evening after dinner, why not enjoy the delights of this ancient city at night? (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
Hotel: Ibis Old Town (2 nights)
- Day 4 - Prague sightseeing & at leisure This morning's sightseeing tour features Hradçany Castle, the Cathedral of St. Vitus and the Old Town Square. Later, with time on your own, why not shop for bargains in Bohemian crystal and porcelain or enjoy a lunch cruise on the Vlatva River - Smetana's Moldau or perhaps to enjoy some delicious beer in one of the many cafés in the old town. This evening we will dine at our hotel.(Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
- Day 5 - Prague - Vienna (2 nights) This morning we leave the Czech Republic behind as we make our way to Austria via the carp lakes of Trebon. We cross the border near the Austrian village of Schrems and soon arrive in Vienna. (Buffet Breakfast)

- Day 6 - Vienna sightseeing & at leisure Morning sightseeing highlights the Imperial Boulevards, the Opera, Parliament and the Hofburg Palace. Then time on your own. Why not head for Kärntnerstrasse and sample the delights of a Viennese coffee house or enjoy a waltz concert? (Buffet Breakfast)
- Day 7 - Vienna - Venice (Main.) (2 nights) On today's journey we see vistas of ancient castles, mountains and lakes as we leave the Danube Plains. We travel to Klagenfurt and the Lake District of Carinthia. Then into Italy we descend to the Adriatic Coast to arrive in romantic Venice. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

- Day 8 - Venice orientation & at leisure All around us are vivid reminders of Venetian medieval maritime power and wealth. As we cruise along the criss-crossing canals, we visit a glass-blowing factory and after, with time at leisure, you may wish to visit St. Mark's Basilica and cruise to on of the islands of the Lagoon. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
- Day 9 - Venice (Main.) - Rome (2 nights) Today we cross the delta of the River Po on our journey south. On through the Apennine Mountains sprinkled with small towns and villages and reach the bustling excitement of Rome. Romans live and love life to the full - so when in Rome...! (Buffet Breakfast)
Hotel: La Pergola (2 nights)
- Day 10 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure Our morning sightseeing tour features St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City plus views of the Forum and Colosseum. Then free time perhaps to relax and watch the world go by from a pavement café or shop by the Spanish Steps. Tonight, why not dine out in one of the many trattorias in the ancient Trastevere District? (Buffet Breakfast)
- Day 11 - Rome - Florence - Italian Lakes (Biandronno) This morning we drive through Tuscany to Renaissance Florence. On our arrival orientation shows us the Cathedral, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistry and Signoria Square. Later we will gain a panoramic view of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo. Then why not shop for fine leather and gold jewelllery in the area around Santa Croce? Finally, we continue our journey to the scenic Italian Lakes. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

- Day 12 - Italian Lakes (Biandronno) - Lucerne Today we drive past Lake Maggiore and Lake Como into Switzerland, where we cross the lake of Lugano. Then through the Gotthard range and spectacular snow capped alps into German speaking Switzerland where we descend through the chalet filled valleys to beautiful lakeside Lucerne where orientation highlights the Lion Monument and the medieval old town. Then time to enjoy on your own to perhaps shop for jewellery, watches or famous-name chocolates or to ascend a nearby mountain by cog-wheel railway and cable car. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

- Day 13 - Lucerne - Paris (2 nights) Early this morning we drive over the French border near Basel passing remnants of the Maginot Line before driving through the wine-producing region of Burgundy to the French capital - Paris for our two-night stay. (Buffet Breakfast)

- Day 14 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure Our sightseeing tour includes views of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées and the Eiffel Tower. At leisure why not detour into the intriguing back streets of the Latin Quarter or take an excursion to Montmartre and the Sacré Coeur? This city's nightlife is world famous - your Tour Director

- Day 15 - Paris - London After breakfast it's 'au revoir Paris' as we head for the coast and the port of Calais. Here a short sea crossing brings us to England.
