acclaimed book, "Anne of Green Gables," learn about the island's
biggest crop from a potato farmer, and enjoy the delicious local
flavors at a traditional shoreline clambake. On lovely Cape Breton
Island, drive along the pristine shores of Bras d'Or Lake and
marvel at the amazing inventions at the Alexander Graham Bell
Museum. Finally, travel along the famous Cabot Trail, one of the
most scenic drives on the Atlantic coast with its rugged terrain
and spectacular ocean views. Stop at the famed St. Peter's Church
in Cheticamp and visit a fishing museum where you will learn how to

Day 1: Halifax, Nova Scotia - Tour
Begins
A tour of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward
Island is a tour of pure beauty. Collette takes you to the
discovered treasures of this charming region. Begin your tour in
Nova Scotia's capital city, Halifax.
Day 2: Halifax - Peggy's Cove - Halifax
Start the day with a visit to one of the
most picturesque spots in all of Nova Scotia…beautiful
Peggy's Cove. Return to Halifax's charming downtown where you have
free time for lunch before embarking on a scenic tour of Halifax
highlighting the Public Gardens, Halifax waterfront,
Spring Garden Road
and the famous Citadel. Included in this tour is a visit to the
Titanic gravesite where you will learn about the important role
Halifax played in the rescue of the survivors during this tragic
event. This evening, enjoy dinner and entertainment in the heart of
Halifax's bustling pub district at the Grafton Street Theater!

Day 3: Halifax - Summerside, Prince Edward
Island
Today you journey to the land known as the
"island cradled in the waves," Prince Edward Island. Visit the College of Piping and

Day 4: Prince Edward Island
This morning, head to the picturesque
beaches of Cavendish National Park. Next, visit a wharf in Rustico,
famous for its fishing boats and lobster traps. You have time to
explore the village and enjoy lunch on your own. Then, it's off to
Founders' Hall, Canada's Birthplace Pavilion, a wonderful heritage
attraction. Here you will enter "The Time Travel Tunnel" and be
transported back to 1864. Tonight enjoy a traditional clambake on
the shores of Prince Edward Island with a local oyster shucker.

Day 5: Summerside - Charlottetown
Today you visit Anne of Green Gables House,
where Lucy Maud Montgomery based her acclaimed book, "Anne of Green
Gables." Later, visit the Anne of Green Gables Museum, where a
local farmer teaches you how to plant or pick the island's number
one crop - potatoes. Returning to Summerside, enjoy an afternoon of
leisure to explore this quaint seaport town on your own. (B)
Day 6: Summerside - Baddeck, Nova
Scotia
Return to Nova Scotia by ferry before
crossing the Canso Causeway onto lovely Cape Breton
Island. Here you will drive along the
pristine shores of Bras d'Or Lake before discovering the amazing
inventions at the Alexander Graham Bell Museum in Baddeck. You will
be amazed at his many inventions. (B,

Day 7: Baddeck - Cabot Trail - Baddeck
This morning travel along the famous Cabot
Trail,one of the most scenic drives on the
Atlantic coast. Its beautiful, rugged terrain and spectacular ocean
views are breathtaking. One of the first stops is the famed St.
Peter's Church in Cheticamp. Enjoy a visit to a fishing museum
where you will learn how to make a fishing net. Continue along the
trail, visiting many traditional fishing villages and communities
including Neil's Harbour and Ingonish. (B, D)
Day 8: Baddeck - Halifax
This morning travel back to the city of
Halifax where you will enjoy the afternoon at leisure to explore
the city. This evening, celebrate the end of a wonderful tour with
a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D)
Day 9: Halifax - Depart for Home
Depart for home with many fond memories.
