Day 1 Mon: Cape Tribulation Depart Cairns at 6.30am.
Journey north crossing the Daintree River. Enjoy a crocodile
spotting cruise, then continue to Cape Tribulation.
Accommodation: Coconut Beach Rainforest Lodge, Cape Tribulation.

Day 2 Tue: Cooktown
Travel along the remote Bloomfield Track to historic Cooktown. Stop
at the James Cook Museum and see Captain Cook's monument.

Day 3 Wed: Musgrave Station
Travel over the Normanby River to the Old Laura Homestead then
through Lakefield National Park. Later, arrive at Musgrave
Station.

Day 4 Thu: Lakefield National Park
Head north and visit the old gold mining town of Coen. Continue
through Mungkan Kaanju National Park and traverse the Piccaninny
Plains to Weipa, on the Gulf of Carpentaria.

Day 5 Fri: Weipa - Bramwell
Enjoy a guided mine tour. Continue north along the Telegraph Road
to Bramwell Station.

Day 6 Sat: Bramwell - Cape York
Traverse rivers and creeks this morning. Cross the mighty Jardine
River and travel through to the Islander community of Bamaga for
overnight.

Day 7 Sun: Cape York
Today is at leisure for you to walk to the northerly most point of
Australia! Stroll along the deserted beaches of Cape York or
bushwalk through the dense forest. (BLD)
Day 8 Mon: Thursday Island
This morning cruise across Torres Strait to Thursday Island. Learn
about the island on a guided tou.

Day 9 Tue: Horn Island - Cairns
Morning at leisure, before the return flight to Cairns with
spectacular views of the Great Barrier Reef.
Accommodation: Tradewinds Esplanade, Cairns. (B)
Day 10 Wed: Depart Cairns You will be transferred to Cairns Airport
to connect with your onward flight (flights to depart anytime).
