The air holidays and flights shown on this site are ATOL protected by the
Civil Aviation Authority, and we act as agents for licensed tour operators.
The relevant ATOL number is displayed with each holiday shown. The flight bookings
we make are also ATOL protected; except when tickets for scheduled flights are
sent to you within 24 hours of payment being accepted; or where your payment
is made direct to airlines. ATOL protection extends primarily to customers who
book and pay in the United Kingdom, Click on the ATOL logo if you want to know
more. As travel and booking agents we act only as Agents for the Principals
actually providing the relevant services and with whom your contract will be
made. We shall not be liable for any act or default on the part of such Principal
or its agents or servants. All holidays shown are subject to availability.
GENERAL
We do not make any charges for deposits or final balances when paid by Debit
Cards. Deposits and final balances paid by Credit Cards are subject to a 2%
handling fee. Payments made by cheque require 7 working days for clearance.
Discounts are subject to a minimum tour cost of £200 per person.
INSURANCE
It is a booking condition of all tour operators & suppliers that you have
adequate travel insurance. Passengers must take out travel insurance and details
of our special facilities are available. Neither we nor any of our Agents or
Servants shall be liable or responsible for any loss, damage, and injury. Delay
or inconvenience whatsoever to any traveler or his luggage or other personal
property sustained or suffered in, or during, any passage, journey, trip or
stay, or in respect of any accommodation or in the carrying out of any arrangements
booked through us. In the case that you decline insurance you may be asked to
sign an indemnity form, or provide details of alternative cover. No insurance
will be issued until the full premium has been received.
PRICE AMENDMENTS
We reserve the right to adjust prices and times given or quoted should circumstances
make necessary. Prior notice will be given in most circumstances. We can only
guarantee against fare increases when the full balances are paid in full at
time of booking.
YOUR BOOKING
Our receipt of a deposit and the lodging of a booking form do not constitute
confirmation of the booking. Confirmation or otherwise is given separately in
a form of an ATOL receipt for flight inclusive bookings.
CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
Passengers should assume that all bookings made are sold on a totally non-refundable
basis unless otherwise advised by us. All cancellations by a client must be
in writing. If a client cancels a booking the deposit will be retained by us
as fee to cover expenses, but clients are liable for all expenses and liabilities
incurred by us if these exceed the deposit.
CANCELLATION BY US
We reserve the absolute right to cancel or modify the arrangements made for
the client, in which event our liability shall be fully satisfied if we shall
repay the amount paid by the client in connection with such arrangements. However,
every effort will be made to offer alternative transportation. If cancellation
is caused by any event beyond our control, e.g. strikes, war, weather or the
default of any Carrier, Hotel Proprietor, or other Principal the client shall
remain liable for all expenses incurred on his behalf. All flights and travel
arrangements are subject to the appropriate permission being given by the CAA
(Civil Aviation Authority) or other relevant Authority. In the event of this
being refused for any reason whatsoever our liability shall be satisfied by
refunding any amounts recovered by us from the Carrier/Principal together with
any monies collected but not yet passed over to the Carrier/Principal.
INFORMATION
We give all information and make all statements in good faith, and take all
reasonable steps to verify such information but shall not in any event be liable
for any errors or inaccuracies in any such statements or information, whether
given orally or in writing and whether by us or by any of our Agents or Servants.
In case of package holidays, scheduled flights or charter flights. Flight timings
are provisional and may be subject to change.
DATA PROTECTION POLICY
In order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements
run smoothly and meet your requirements we need to use the information you provide
such as name, address, any special needs/dietary requirements etc.
We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are
in place to protect your information. We must pass the information on to the
relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements such as your tour operator, airlines,
hotels, transport companies etc. The information may also be provided to security
or credit checking companies, public authorities such as customs/immigration
if required by them, or as required by law.
Additionally, where your holiday is outside the European Economic Area (EEA),
controls on data protection in your destination may not be as strong as the
legal requirements in this country. We will not however, pass any information
onto any person not responsible for part of your travel arrangements. This applies
to any sensitive information that you give to us such as details of any disabilities,
or dietary/religious requirements. (If we cannot pass this information to the
relevant suppliers, whether in the EEA or not, we cannot provide your booking.
In making this booking, you consent to this information being passed on to the
relevant persons.)
Usually your tour operator or other principal will pass this information onto
their suppliers once we have provided it to them. The tour operator or other
principal’s use of your information is subject to their policy, both in
respect of your booking and any future marketing, and is their responsibility.
Please ask either us or them for a copy of this if you would like to see it.
You are entitled to a copy of your information held by us. If you would like
to see this please contact us. [We may make a small charge for providing this
to you].
CLAIMS
In the event of a claim, our maximum liability is restricted to the total amount
paid to us by the claimant less any expenses incurred.
FORFEITURE OF RESERVATIONS
All final balances must be paid at least two months before departure or the
date given at time of booking in writing or orally. If they are not paid we
reserve the right, which may be exercised without any notice to the passenger
whatsoever, to cancel the reservation and retain any balances.
PASSPORTS, VISAS AND HEALTH CERTIFICATES
Passengers must be in possession of a valid passport and necessary visa(s)
and health certificates. In case of passengers being refused entry by any immigration
or other Authority all repatriation costs are to be borne by the passenger.
RECONFIRMATION
Where a passenger has to reconfirm a flight or return booking it is their responsibility
for any inconvenience or loss caused by not doing this.
VALIDITY OF TICKETS
Return tickets are only valid for dates specified on the tickets unless a change
is made by the company, or at the passengers request and make an additional
charge at our discretion.
INFORMATION GIVEN IN THE BOOKING FORM
Information given in the Booking form is accepted by the Company as being correct
unless subsequently amended in writing. We therefore do not accept any responsibility
whatsoever, for any inconvenience or financial loss caused by wrong information
being supplied to the company.
CHANGES OF REQUESTED TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
All requests by passengers to alter booking or travel arrangements must be
writing or made in person. Should a firm booking already be held a charge of
minimum of =A350 will be made to change the dates of travel subject to conditions
of booking/ticket and availability.
JURISDICTION
All agreements between the traveler and us shall be governed by English Law
and within the exclusive jurisdiction of English Courts.
TRAVEL TICKETS & DOCUMENTATION
Our responsibility is to provide tickets for collection at our office. Tickets
posted to clients are done so at the client's risk. Any costs arising from non-delivery
will be borne by the client. For late bookings collection of tickets at the
airport will be arranged charges will apply.
COACH TOURS
The following terms and conditions relate specifically to coach tours. Where
we act as agent you will be bound by the tour operator’s terms and conditions.
Where we act as principal then these terms and conditions shall apply:-
The minimum age for passengers is 5.
Smoking is not allowed on any coach tour.
One small piece of hand luggage is allowed on the coach.
Prices do not include fares to / from your accommodation to / from your pick
up/ drop off point, drinks, snacks, optional entrance fees and personal items
unless specifically mentioned on your tickets and itinerary.
Tickets are not transferable. They may only be used by the passenger for whom
the ticket was bought.
Lost / stolen tickets will be replaced at the discretion of Coach Trips.com
If you have to cancel your booking you must notify us immediately. In the event
of cancellation cancellation charges apply. If a client cancels a booking the
deposit will be retained by us as fee to cover expenses, but clients are liable
for all expenses and liabilities incurred by us if these exceed the deposit.
If you wish to cancel your holiday, written notification must be given to us.
The date of cancellation will be the date we actually receive this written notice.
In the event of cancellation by you, no insurance premium paid will be refunded
and the following cancellation charges will be payable towards which we may
apply the Deposit:
60 days or more prior to departure Deposit only forfeited;
59-36 days prior to departure 70% of Tour Price;
35-15 days prior to departure 90% of Tour Price;
within 14 days of departure 100% of Tour Price.
If you cancel your holiday after the Company has sent out travel documents,
no refund (if due) will be made unless and until all such documents are actually
received back by the Company within 7 days of your notice, time being of the
essence.
Notice of cancellation is deemed to be received when it is acknowledge by us,
either verbally or in writing.
Passengers should aim to be at the pick up point for their tour at least 30
minutes prior to their scheduled departure time. We cannot guarantee that your
seat will not be given to another passenger if you arrive later than the scheduled
departure time and no liability will be accepted in such circumstances.
Passengers are responsible for getting any luggage on or off the coach. Passengers
must also look after their luggage and personal effects at all times whilst
at the pick up point, at the stops and on the coach.
Stops are made during the tour for sightseeing and refreshment. You must return
to the coach punctually within the time allowed for those stops. Your coach
may have to leave without you if your return is overdue and we shall not be
liable for the consequence.
We will not be liable for loss or damage to luggage or its contents or personal
effects resulting from carrying or leaving any luggage or personal effects on
the coach.
We have no liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or direct or consequential
loss, however caused, unless due to our employees’ negligence, in which
case our liability is limited to a maximum of the refund of the tour cost.
We shall not be liable for any loss, consequential loss, inconvenience or delay
arising out of the breakdown or failure of any vehicles or from circumstances
beyond our control.
Personal insurance is not included. Passengers are advised to arrange their
own personal insurance cover.
In the interests of all passengers the following rules apply:-
a) Smoking - you are not permitted to smoke whilst on board the coach but all
tours make frequent stops.
b) Alcoholic drinks - you are not allowed to take onto the coach any alcoholic
drinks for the purpose of consuming them, nor to drink such drinks on the coach
or to remain on the vehicle when in the opinion of the driver you are under
the influence of alcoholic drink.
c) Drug and Solvent Abuse - you are not permitted to board or remain on board
the coach whilst under the influence of drugs and / or solvents.
Failure to comply with any of the above may result in you being required to
leave the coach in the interests of fellow passengers. Should this happen you
will not be entitled to any refund or compensation and we shall be under no
further obligation or liability to you.
Every care will be exercised in the arrangement of tours. However, we will not
be liable for unexpected and unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Changes may be made to tours to respond to unexpected and unforeseen circumstances.
Your driver has to exercise his/her discretion on the effects which these may
have on the tour.
If we fail for what ever reason within our control to complete a tour we will
provide suitable alternative transport but our liability shall be limited to
the cost of providing transport to the agreed drop off points. We have no liability
for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or direct or consequential loss.
Each tour operates subject to sufficient demand. We reserve the right to cancel
or alter arrangements. In this event all monies paid will be refunded.
In the event that an advertised place of interest shall be closed every endeavour
shall be made to substitute an alternative but the company reserves the right
to cancel or alter arrangements.
The published pick up and drop off times are approximate only. We do not undertake
that tours will start or return at the times specified in our brochures and
leaflets. We have no liability for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or
direct or consequential loss caused as a result of the late departure or return
of a tour.
